REVENGE
Ron's POV
"Who are you calling?" Lucas tried to peep on my phone but I immediately walked a few steps away from his observant eyes before he could see anything.
"Hello? Hubby, ikaw ba 'yan?"
I frowned. "Were you expecting a call from Russ?"
Sab was silent for a few seconds. "Ron? Uy hello! Akala ko ikaw na si hubby ko! Hindi pa kasi siya natawag kaya nagtataka ako. He said he'd call. Are you with him?"
I ran a hand through my hair.
I really don't like that she's always talking about him. Wala siyang ibang bukambibig kundi si Russell.
"Are you busy?" pagbabago ko ng topic.
"Hmmm, a little. I still have classes right now."
"And afterwards?"
"I'm going straight to Manager Lee for my training. Swerte ng hubby ko, ano? Biro mo, ganito kaganda ang makakasama niya everyday bwahahaha!"
I smiled at how energetic she is. "Hanggang anong oras 'yon?"
"I'm not sure. Bakit ba?"
"Yayain sana kitang lumabas."
"Uhmm... tingnan ko ah. Hindi kasi ako sure kung limited lang ba ang time ko as an assistant. Baka kasi mamaya kailangan kasama ako ng captain mo until matulog kami hehehe."
I still don't understand Russ. He doesn't want someone following him, let alone bother him and yet he still chose to hire that one girl who has a huge crush on him.
Inis siya dito pero pinili niyang makasama ito. Ano bang pinaplano niyang gawin?
"Let me know, okay? I hope you'll give time for me too."
"Balitaan kita. Sige na, andito na ang prof ko. Bye!!!"She ended the call abruptly before I could even reply back.
Sighing, I stood up and went to my next class. Pagpasok ko sa room ay nakita ko agad si Russell. Hindi naman siya mahirap hanapin dahil madalas pinalilibutan siya ng mga babaeng humaling na humaling sa kanya. Also, a lot of them are taking pictures of him.
Nakikinig lang siya ng music habang nakapikit. His arms are crossed and he's frowning. Typical Russell.
"Bro." Tinapik ko ang braso niya bago ako umupo sa tabi niya. He took out one of his airpods from his ear and raised an eyebrow at me.
