Third Person:
Kanao: Tanjiro! Where are you?
Chuntaro chirps on top of Kanao's head.
Kanao pants and stops walking.
Kanao: Where are you, Nezuko, Aoi? Don't just leave me here all by myself in this terrifying forest!
Birds move around in the trees behind Kanao, scaring her.
Kanao: What was that? You know what? This is starting to make me mad! I'll find Tanjiro as soon as possible, and then it's so long, scary forest! Tanjiro!
Kanao begins to walk again. While she walks away, a clicking sound can be heard.
The headless demon strikes at Nezuko and Aoi. They dodge and the demon ends up hitting the ground.
Aoi: That thing's got no weak spots! I can't slash something that's not there!
Nezuko: Aoi!
Aoi: What do we do? What do we do?
Nezuko: Stay calm! We can use the kesagiri maneuver! Let's try slashing from the base of it's neck on the right side to his left waist! It's a lot to cover, and I'm sure it's really tough, but I bet...
Aoi zooms to the demon's body.
Nezuko: Wait! I meant together...
Aoi runs up to the body anyway.
It's fast, she thinks.
Aoi dodges the claw from attacking her neck, but her hand, arm and waist get hit.
But not so fast I can't dodge it!
A tiny bear crawls on Aoi's left arm.
Uh-oh! I forgot about the bears!
Suddenly fur that is connected to Aoi's body hardens on it.
Aoi: I can't move! I'm a dead woman!
The demon was about to attack and kill Aoi but Nezuko uses her sword to stop the attack from reaching Aoi.
Nezuko then frees Aoi by slicing off the fur. Aoi gives her the look again.
Nezuko: Aoi, let's fight together! Let's think together! Let's work together, so we can bring down this demon!
Aoi: Damn you! Don't make me any giddier than I am!
The body gets in a fighting stance.
Aoi: You're in my way!
Nezuko kneels down facing the demon in front of Aoi:
Nezuko: Aoi, launch yourself off me!
Aoi steps on Tanjiro's box and swings one of her swords towards the demon. She slashed both of its arms.
Nezuko put her head on the ground and began instructing Aoi on what to do.
Nezuko: Aoi, jump!
Aoi jumps up. Nezuko holds out her sword.
Total Concentration... Water Breathing! Fourth Form... Striking Tide!
Nezuko slashes both of the demon's legs.
Nezuko: Now for the kesagiri!
Damnit, Aoi thought. What the hell? This is annoying! It's all going his way, huh? It's as if this whole thing was predicted by him... as natural as water flowing down a river's course. It's not about going first for this girl. It's the battle! It's the overall flow that she's watching!
Aoi slices the body and it burns away. The mother bear demon gasps.
Great, Nezuko thinks. What a cut!
Nezuko: Alright! We defeated it, Aoi!
Aoi just stands there and doesn't move?
Nezuko: Aoi?
Aoi puts her swords down and runs up to Nezuko.
Anything you can do, I can do too, dumbass!
Aoi grabs Nezuko by the waist and throws her up in the air. While she's up there she gasps.
Nezuko: This feeling... So that's what this is about, huh, Aoi?
They got me! The mother bear demon thinks. They got me! Even though that doll was my fastest and strongest! It's Kaigaku's fault for coming up to me with his threats! That's why I panicked! I panicked! Panicked!
Mama bear demon looks up and sees Nezuko.
From above?
Water Breathing, First Form!
He'll kill me! He'll cut off my head! Think! You have to think!
Nezuko gets closer to the demon.
But... if I die, I'll be freed.
The demon sticks her hands up and disconnects the claws. She closes her eyes.
And then, I'll find peace.
Nezuko switches forms.
Fifth Form... Blessed Rain After the Drought.
The demon's head got sliced. However, she found it peaceful.
This is... It feels like I'm being showered by a gentle rain. It doesn't hurt at all. It's not agonizing. It's simply warm. I never dreamed that my end would be this tranquil. And now, I'm free.
The mother demon screamed as her left eye was attacked.
Mama bear: I'm so sorry! I apologize, so please forgive me! What made you angry? What caused you displeasure?
Kaigaku: Your offense is not knowing what made him mad. But how could I?
A demon chuckled behind a tree.
Bear demon: Father's angry with Mother again!
The mother demon then screamed when her hair was grabbed.
Mama bear: Stop it! No! No!
As the demon's head was disappearing, she looked at Nezuko's eyes.
Those eyes... Such kind eyes... Back when I was human, I think someone used to look at me with kind eyes. I wonder who that was. I can't remember. It was someone who always treasured me. I wonder how that person is doing now.
Before she passes, the demon tells Nezuko something very important.
Mama bear: There's a Twelve Kizuki here.
Nezuko gasps.
Nezuko: Wait!
Mama bear: Be careful.
A Twelve Kizuki is here... An actual one... here on this mountain!
