Zhu Zhanjin sat in the dark beneath yellowish lights that glow weakly. In the other hand that rests on the thigh holding a bottle of drink which he drank almost half of it. The half-panic eyes of his black beads were fixed on the figure that was staring at him intimidatingly. The young man in front of him looked very angry at him.

"What do you think? What's in your brain?!”

The young man hissed furiously at Zhanjin who was trying to calm himself down.

“I didn't expect Chen Yu to be able to let you go. But now don't expect you to survive, Zhanjin.”

“Only you can protect me, Vardy. You know I never betrayed you. I have always been loyal to you,” Zhanjin pleaded.

The youth who stood with his arms folded turned out to be Vardy who quickly found Zhanjin.

Of course.

Because Zhu Zhanjin contacted him so he could meet the young man after visiting his casino. And now he is in Zhanjin's hideout near the protected forest.

"Faithful you say?" Vardy raised the corners of his lips. “You've been acting up too much, Zhanjin. You think you can get away with it from our organization?”

“Dad was never fair, Vardy. As long as he has Chen Yu, all of us will not be glanced at by him,” Zhanjin issued a defense.

"So you intend to kill him?" the tone of the question was extremely dismissive. "You think it's easy to get rid of Chen Yu?"

“I wish I could be like Wang Yibo. Your brother is very lucky. He never meddled in organizational matters at all," half complaining, Zhanjin finished the rest of his drink.

“His ability is still below standard. Let him alone, even I am nothing compared to Chen Yu.”

Vardy snorted harshly, then turned his palms towards Zhanjin.

"Give back what you took. I will take care of him."

Zhu Zhanjin shot a confused and questioning look. His expression was beyond Vardy's expectations.

"What item do you mean?"

Even though he frowned slightly, Vardy still maintained the suspicion that Zhanjin took the chips that had now disappeared from their group.

“Don't pretend, Zhanjin. That's why you ran away, right? Because you've got the family secrets and weaknesses. Do you intend to report to the police or to blackmail certain parties?”

"I never took anything!"

Zhu Zhanjin stood up, threw the empty bottle into the corner of the room which was a small hut and only laid on dry earth.
