The idea of revenge was such a simple concept.

It was the one thing that brought Touya back to that horrible godforsaken household, the thing that got him up every single morning even though his mind was turning darker and darker by day and it was the very thing that brought him to use Takami Hikari.

To him she was just a pawn, a means of getting what he wanted. Well, at least that's the thought process he had when he searched her out just days after the commission attack. In his mind, if he could turn Keigo's precious sister against the hero and break her then he was sure it would destroy the bird completely.

And he reveled in the future, in the prediction of Keigo's horrified and betrayed face when he found out that his little sister was ruined by none other than his supposed best friend.Yes, he couldn't wait for that bird to feel Touya's pain.

    Then he'd be truly sorry.

It took many hours but soon Touya found himself standing in front of the very pawn herself, shivering and shaking from the cold as she buried her own face inside herself. It seemed she was completely tuned out as well, not noticing the ever watchful stare of the white haired teen just steps away.

Examining the girl, Todoroki couldn't help but lower his eyes at her weak and pathetic nature. He had heard plenty of stories from Keigo about her but Touya had still yet to confirm any of them. Hell, before he could even try she had passed out on him like some sort of fragile doll.

Yet that's when he heard her broken words, full of sadness and irony. "K-Keigo, I want to go home.."

At the mention of her brother, Touya's lips twisted in pure disgust. He almost felt sorry for the girl, knowing that Keigo would never know about Hikari's distress and/or the commision attack. In fact, it seemed like he was the only one that knew what kind of tragedy had truly occured.

Too bad for her though, considering Touya wasn't going to tell Keigo either.

That would ruin his plan after all.

Brushing off the idea, Touya then took another step closer into the bird's personal bubble, his hands shoved inside his pocket as he watched the girl flinch at the arrival. Ah, so now she knows I'm here. Let's see if Keigo was right about you.

Although he was quickly cut off when a flimsy red feather burst from her wings before the object pointed itself at the boy as Hikari shuttered back with as much strength as possible. Which happened to be very little. "D-Don't come a-any closer...I'm w-warning you..."

Touya couldn't help but crack a cynical smirk at her attempt at defense, if you could even call it that. Poor little birdie, so alone out here and trying to act all scary. It was rather comical.

So much so that the boy knew he couldn't keep her waiting anymore, speaking out towards Keigo's sister with knowing intent. "Is that anyway to greet your savior?"

Then he watched as Takami Hikari lifted her head upwards before her tear covered expression met Touya's for the first time since the commission attack. She seemed scared and uncertain, just as Keigo described her to be. "You're.."

He didn't let her finish, not caring about the small details. He had already seen them after all. Instead he cut off the girl a moment later in order to do the one thing he knew best. Making fun of her. "Yeah. Hate to break it to you but you look like shit."
