It should've been a peaceful night, a little Family gathering where the Family chatted and exchanged stories of how they've been, maybe little funny arguments, when it all ended in a good laughter. This Gathering shouldn't have been exception, yet it was.
Little Aurora woke up more happier than usual, she was really looking forward to this little Family gathering, she would meet her relatives and most importantly Atlas, oh how she missed her dear brother, well technically Atlas was her cousin but because the two children were similar age and their mortal parents were close, the pair also became very close. They had Sibling love for each other, had a bond which many would envy, as time would pass the pair would grow more and more closer. The little Trouble Makers, and future Demons. As Regulus and his brother Phoenix liked to call Aurora and Atlas were truly unique, they pulled pranks like no other, and when the relatives all asked for the pair to get punished, Grandpa Orion saved the day, so in a way we can say they were Spoiled. Which was true, they were spoiled by Love and many extravagant presents.
Someone knocked at the door softly, that only can be 4 people Aurora thought
"Aurora, little Star, are you ready? Asked Regulus her father
"Yes, dad I am." Answered Aurora
"Good, now can I come in?" Asked Regulus
"Yep."
"Alright" said Regulus as he opened the door of his star.
"You are still in bed?" Asked Regulus
"Why, yes" answered little Aurora
"I thought you would be up, not to mention your brother is coming, pardon is already here."
"Atlas, Rhea and Phoenix are here?" Asked Aurora excitedly
"Here I thought I was my niece's favourite as she is mine." Phoenix Exclaimed dramatically
"Stop, with your dramatics brother, not to mention she is your only niece" said Regulus to his brother who was sobbing even more after what Regulus said
"Uncle Phoenix, you are my favourite but I also love my brother and my aunt." Said little Aurora
"I am?" Asked Phoenix with the biggest smile Regulus saw on his brother's face since Atlas' birth.
"Yep." Said Aurora happily
"I knew it." Said Phoenix as he picked up his little niece from her bed and hugged her tightly
Regulus was going to scold his brother for nearly crushing his daughter when someone else did it for him.
"Darling, put my niece down for god's sake you will strangle her." Said a female voice who could only belong to Rhea
"Sorry, love, it's just my niece told me I was her favourite." Answered Phoenix to his wife
"Ah, well in that case I send my congratulations to you dear Husband, after all you do deserve it." Said Rhea sarcastically
