As the group finished and the other students clapped at their presentation, the six of them began to walk back to their seats.
Haeri could still feel her heart thumping, pulse thrashing around her body and muscles shaking as she clutched her wrist lightly with the other hand.
When making her way back to her seat, Hyunjae grinned at her from her own chair and outstretched a hand to high five the girl.
Haeri smiled and reciprocated despite the effects of her anxiety still remaining, her group sitting back down as the next group got ready.
The tingling sensation on her wrist brought her attention down at her lap as her right hand moved itself off the other wrist, the black hair-tie surrounded by red streaks of where she had been subconsciously pulling and letting go of it against her skin.
Lightly rubbing at the skin, she pulled her sleeve down as exhaled to let herself calm down from the nerves. So glad it was over now, taking a sip from her water bottle and listening to the remaining groups.
