- Chapter 48, The final. -

Hyunjin paces the floor of the hospital.

Back and forth, back and forth.

It's has been hours since everybody left the house, and the whole public already knows about everything. Chan and Jisung obviously didn't make it, and Felix has yet to wake up.

He came into the hospital nearing death, and the doctors have tired everything they can to keep him alive. They said there is a good chance he might not even make it, as well as a good chance he will fall into a coma.

"Just sit down." Minho says.

"I can't." Hyunjin says, continuing to pace the floors as he chews on the inside of his lip. He hasn't ever felt this nervous, and he doesn't even have anything else on his mind.

"Breaking news." The news anchor says. "The murderer cases we all have been so worried about, have been in the wrong hands all this time. We will head on over to Seungmin, at the scene of the crime."

Hyunjin stops pacing the floors, and looks out to watch the television. A few people around him, as well as Minho, also look up at the television. Everybody wants to know what Seungmin is about to say.

"Our boss Bang Chan, is a murderer." He says. "When our top detective, Lee Felix, came to us with the accusation- we didn't walk to believe it. But he was right, Chan had been going behind our backs the whole entire time. Chan was working with another detective of ours as well, and they both lost the battle today."

"What exactly caused all of this?"

His brother, Kai, attacked Jeongin- and lost his life as Jeongin tried to protect his. This sparked something, and Chan killed his whole family- along with some of Yang's. It was a terrible case to solve, but it's all thanks to Lee Felix we were able to solve it. If it were for Minho and Hyunjin also, we wouldn't have made it. My heart goes out to those three, and I hope we can have a couple of drinks to wipe this away."

"Well you heard it here folks, we have Lee Felix, Hwang Hyunjin, Lee Minho, and Kim Seungmin to thank for solving all of this. We hope and pray Felix will wake up soon."

"Daddy!" A voice screams.

Hyunjin stops watching the news, and snaps around to look at where the voice came from. He watches as Nabi runs up to him, Jeongin right behind him. He furrows his brows, confused as to why Jeongin is in public when he is literally on the news as a killer.

He immediately swoops her up, hugging her as tightly as he can. "Oh my baby." He says into her chest. "You have no idea how much I missed you." He says. Just hugging her releases all his stress.

"I missed you too!" She exclaims. "I missed you and Felix!"

"Felix misses you too." He says. "Do you want to go see him?" He asks, crouching down and putting her onto the ground again. He is at her level, so he can see her beautiful face again.

"Can I?" She asks excitingly.

"You can." He looks to Minho. "Can you take her in? I need to have a work with Jeongin." He says, and Minho agrees. The pair happily go to Felix's hospital room together.

Hyunjin watches them go with a smile, and stands back up with a sigh. He turns to Jeongin, who looks guiltier than ever. "Long day, huh?" Jeongin asks.

"You have no idea." Hyunjin says.

They both kind of just chuckle, before it becomes silent again. Hyunjin clears his throat. "Why are you out in public, aren't you supposed to be in prison or something?"

"Nope." He shrugs. "Seungmin.. or whatever that guys name is.. got my charges ruled out as self defense. I do have to pay a lot for all the drug charges.. but at least I have no jail time." He chuckles. "That Seungmin guy.. really is something."

"He's married." Hyunjin says. "So don't get any ideas."

"He is?" Jeongin asks disappointed.

"Mhm." Hyunjin chuckles.

He stays silent for another second or two, before just sighing. "Look, I need to apologize." Hyunjin says. "I am so sorry for not being there for you, seriously." He says. "I guess I'm not the best big brother."

"Yeah, not the best." Jeongin shrugs. "But you still are mine, so that's already enough-"

"He's awake!" Minho yells from the door.

Hyunjin jumps, getting ready to run in there right away. However, he stops and turns back to Jeongin. He can't leave his brother at a moment like this, no matter what.

Jeongin giggles at his struggle. "Go." He says. "I don't do well with sappy stuff, so please leave for my own good." He waves Hyunjin off.

The older chuckles, and nods his head. "Thank you."

He earns a smile from his younger brother, and smiles back at him. He turns around as begins to walk into the room, his steps getting faster with each one. He takes a deep breath before entering the room.

Nabi is sitting right by Felix's side, holding his hand. He is smiling widely, but weakly, at her. He smiles at the sight, and it's only then Felix notices him watching them. He looks to Hyunjin, and gives him the biggest smile of all.

"Hi, you." Hyunjin says, walking closer. He puts a hand on Felix's cheek, and Felix leans into the warmth. "You're awake. How are you feeling?" He asks softly.

"I'm feeling good." Felix smiles at him, looking at him lovingly. "You know what I'm feeling though?" He says playfully, which is shocking since he just got shot.

Hyunjin raises a brow. "What?"

"A vacation." He giggles. "How about we got to Europe and.." he pauses, looking to Nabi. "I don't know, never come back?" He tilts his head, seriously asking.

Hyunjin just chuckles at the male. "Okay, I will start to pack. When do we leave?" He asks with full confidence, not doubting the choice to agree at all.

"Seriously?" Felix asks. "I do have like three weeks until I can ever leave the hospital.."

"Seriously." Hyunjin nods his head, smiling at Felix. "I mean it. Wherever you want to go, I'll follow you with no doubts in my mind. Because I.." he pauses. "I love you, Felix." He says, smiling.

Felix looks at him in shock, but smiles brighter than Hyunjin has ever seen him smile. "I love you too." He says, and fully, one-hundred percent means it with every bone in his body.

"I love you both!" Nabi yells, trying to get involved.
