Why can't you understand
You are the one I want
You are the one I have on my mind all the time
You are the one who has helped me pull through
The one I love
But everytime I try to show you
To prove this to you
You mistake my feelings
As lies
As a game
Why don't you just accept my compassion
Why cant you just take me for who I am
Don't you have any idea how much this hurts me too
I put all my trust into you
Told you things that I still hadn't admitted to even myself
Promised you my future
Our future
How does that not prove to you how much I love you
It really hurts
My eyes burn
These tears slipping down my cheeks
My hands bloody yet again
Anything I say or do
Ends up creating problems
Creating distance in between us
How can you not see how much you mean to me
How hard ive tried to prove this to you
I never want to lose you
But no matter what
You don't understand
This IS my way of proving it to you
I love you...
