School was stopped for extra safety and a curfew was set for the town due to the murders.

Her mother continued to scream, so far no physical abuse, but lots of yelling.

When Veronica arrived home on Friday afternoon, after it was announced there would be a curfew and school was stopped, she found her house to be empty and a note on the fridge.

"Working late, won't be back till tomorrow.

-Mom"

Veronica sighed and threw the note in the trash, she walked upstairs and picked up her phone, dialing in a number.

The phone rang a few times then was picked up.

"Tatum?"

"Oh, hi Ronnie! What's up?"

"My mom's gone for the night, wanna come over?"

"Oh my god! I'd love to!"

"Will you invite the others too? Just inner circle?"

"Yeah of course! See ya tonight!"

Veronica hung up. She was excited, but incredibly nervous. What if her mom caught her? No. She wouldn't be home until tomorrow.

Veronica stood up and began to clean the house, she picked up her room and put everything embarrassing away.

Then she went into the kitchen and realized she had barely any snacks. So she grabbed her wallet and left the house. Little did she know, her every move was being watched by two sets of eyes.

She hopped onto her skateboard and rode down to the local convenience store. She bought a few bags of chips, some Jiffy Pop, boxes of candy, and a bunch of Coca Cola.

7:59pm

When she arrived home, she found a familiar blond on her doorstep.

"Tatum?" Veronica questioned.

"Oh, hey!" Tatum greeted.

"Wait, how'd you know my address? I forgot to tell you."

"Oh, Billy told me." Tatum smiled.

"What...?" Veronica looked confused.

"Billy told me your address." Tatum repeated.

"Oh... right." Veronica tried to remember a time she told the boy her address, but nothing came to mind. She shrugged it off and helped Tatum inside.

"Wow, I can't believe I've never been to your house. It's so nice here." Tatum smiled.

"Yeah, my mom is... strict." Veronica lied.

Tatum helped Veronica put the snacks in bowls and soda in a cooler.

"So, I was thinking we could watch some scary movies." Veronica grinned.

Tatum rolled her eyes, playfully. "Of course you were. Y'know, I think you and Billy would get along well. He absolutely loves scary movies."

"Wait, he does?" Veronica looked at the blond in shock.

"Uh, yeah. He and Stu stay up all night watching them." Tatum laughed.

Veronica smiled, "I do that all the time."

"Wait, can I see your room?" Tatum asked.

"Oh, yeah!" Veronica grabbed Tatum by the hand and ran up the stairs.

She opened the door to her room.

"Oh, wow!" Tatum looked around at the room, the walls were covered in various movie posters, mainly horror. There were a few strings of christmas lights, a whole ton of candles and other dark attire.
