i landed in massachusetts and got a rental car before driving to livs house, without her knowing.

i saved her address in my phone from when we drove up here.

the car ride felt so long and its 4am.

i parked in front of her house, seeing her car.

i decided to call her because i dont want to knock and wake everyone up.

"hello?" she asked, clearly just waking up.

"can you let me in?"

"huh?"

"come let me in please."

"where are you?" she asked, i could hear her getting out of her bed.

"im walking up to your front door now."

"i swear jack if you're shitting me right now, ill be so pissed."

"just open the door babe." i said.

i stood at the front door and she ended the call.

i waited a few seconds and the door opened to her, wearing an oversized tshirt with the hurricanes logo on it.

"what?" she asked

"hey la."

she leaped to me & hugged me, wrapping her arms & legs around me.

i hugged her back and walked into her house with her.

"why are you here? how did you get here to fast?"

"booked a flight last minute."

i walked into her room and laid her on her bed. she let go of me and crawled back into bed.

"cmon." she said.

i took my shirt off and got in bed next to her, she placed her arm over me.

"why'd you come here?" she asked, closing her eyes.

"i missed you."

she smiled softly, "i missed you too."

"so michigan?" i asked.

"shh sleep jack." she hushed me.

-

"livvy, its noon. oh my."

liv and i woke up and looked at her mom who was standing in the doorway.

"jack?" she asked.

"hi tracy."

"jack why are you here? when did you get here? is that your car outside?"

i glanced at liv and we exchanged the same look.

"i got here this morning."

"let me know next time please." she said.

"yes ma'am, im sorry."

"liv, its noon and you have work today and kells been calling you but you obviously haven't been getting them so she called me and im here on my lunch break." she stressed.

liv picked up her phone, "oops."

"liv." tracy said. "you just graduated college, i need you too be an adult and set an alarm and go to work."

"but thats hard." she complained, laying back down.

"if i come home from work at 5 & you didn't go to work today, you'll be in a world of hurt."

tracy left the room and soon left the house.

"i dont want to go to work."

she rolled over and wrapped herself around me.
