"can you invite trevor over?"

"no." jack answered.

"im being serious."

"i am too."

"jack." i sighed.

"babe, im not letting that happen."

"just let me explain." i said.

"no liv, there's nothing to explain." he said, standing up and walking to away from my bed.

"yes there is."

he turned around and looked at me, giving me a confused look.

"do you not remember john & maddies wedding?"

"i do, which is why i want to talk to him so we can be friends again, i want-."

"liv, its not going to happen babe."

i huffed and got out of bed.

"can you let me talk?" i raised my voice.

"baby, im trying to protect you."

"im trying to make everything normal again." i pointed to my chest.

"whats not normal?"

<>jacks pov<>

"ugh!" she exaggerated.

she stormed past me and down the stairs.

"liv?" i said.

i went after her but she was at the front door, grabbing her keys when i was on the last step.

"livlyn?" i said.

the front door slammed shut and i looked over at her mom, sister, & brother sitting in the living room.

ways eyebrows raised as he got a drink from his cup.

"what happened?" her mom sighed.

"she wants to talk to trevor."

kell laughed, "hilarious, but not happening."

"that's pretty much what i said and thats why were in this mess." i ran my hand through my hair.

"why does she want to talk to trevor?"

"she wants us to be friends again, she wants it to be normal."

kellyn shook her head, "no no no, theres no normal with trevor. he's literally lied to both of you about the other one. all trevor wants to do is tear this relationship apart. he cant stand seeing her happy and its killing him that his once best friend is the man of her dreams."

i smirked but quickly wiped it off my face.

"i cant see my sister in a hospital bed with feeding tubes in her ever again, so there needs to be a brick wall between her & trevor." way said.

"is she outside?" tracy asked, standing up from the couch.

i walked over and looked out the window.

"her phone says shes here." kell said.

"her cars not here." i said, worried.

"fields?" way said.

"possibly, that was her coping skill for many years." tracy said.

turned to look at them, they didn't seem super worried.

"jack, she goes to the soccer fields when she has times like this, its normal for her. she'll be home in 30 minutes to an hour. she just needs time." tracy said.
