He let the sunlight filter through his study, the curtains prying away from the huge circular windows giving him a clear view of the drive away. A slow lazy smirk played on his lips as he stood watching the Black SUV leading came to a stop, followed by two mustangs and two similar SUVs tailed it. The convoy could intimidate some but not him, not anymore.

He glanced at the sandstone walls standing tall to hold the golden gate being opened for the arriving guests.

"You will be demanded to explain your actions, Hukum." Ajay Singh made his presence known behind him as the guards bowed and shuffled away in respect as the gates parted leading them inside.

"I see." Indraneel smiled watching the cars moving, entering the vast greenery-covered fields, driving through the drive away for almost two kilometers before hiding from his sight behind the palace entrance.

"Time we greet them, Sigh Saab." He rolled the words playfully and descended the stairs taking his own sweet time.

"Khamma Ghani, Hukum." The servant bowed to him and he nodded in the greeting. "Raja-sa and Rajmata are waiting for you in the formal seating room."

"Thank you." He smiled politely and trudged his way to the formal room where he knew the guests waited.

The high ceilings and wide corridors did not bother him as much but the narrower thinking and short-sightedness of the people waiting for him did.

He will be dealing with all of them and more.

He gestured for the guard to not announce his presence as two knocks resonated the silence. He could feel Arjun Singh throwing glares filled with disagreement.

Blinking the emotions out of his eyes and letting the amusement filter away, his smirk turned into a small curve, and with face softened like before.

He was the young, carefree, and unbothered prince for them and he had to display the same.

The façade should keep going.

"Khamma ghani, Maharaj."

"Khamma ghani, Maharaj." He greeted the thick-skinned king of Manwar who stood like a general with hands crossed at his back.
