Stood near the window was him. Turning his back to her, he stood watching the sunset as his fingers played with the hospital drapes, he glanced at her whispering words she couldn't comprehend but it was him.

Neel.

She had her eyes narrowed, exerting them to get a clear picture of him, begging in her head for him to turn but it seemed he was too engrossed watching the sunrise.

Her body was numb and pressed back within an unknown force she couldn't fight, her fingers itched to rub her eyes clear but nothing worked. Her limps weren't moving, brain was too foggy to command them.

Yet she could recognize him anywhere.

It was Neel.

"N-Neel?" She called out and the man froze but didn't turn. "W-what are you...?"

Her body ached with every syllable she uttered.

"I-it i-is you..." Her words trailed.

Before she could try again, her eyes closed on their own accord.

Giving in to exhaustion

Sakshi sat near her, eyes red in subsided anger as she flocked to her with her Mother hen attitude. Shoving another spoon of soup the doctor allowed her to have.

She winced shaking her head, everything hurt.

"Stop throwing tantrums, V. Open your mouth and have this. You need nutrients to survive this shit load of medicines." Sakshi chided her forcing another spoon full of soup down her throat.

She moaned in protest, talking was only a necessity. Something which hurt her to the very bone, hell, breathing hurt.

"Why did you have to fight the thief? You could have surrendered and let him take anything he wanted. At least you would have been in one piece and alive." Sakshi grumbled.

Vandita frowned hearing the story. Her fingers stopped the next spoon, eyes questioning her to elaborate.

"It was a robbery, right? Your chain, ring, wallet, and spare cash in your car box was missing. I guess he couldn't find your phone because it was tucked in your jacket's inner pocket. They are checking the surveillance but haven't got a lot in the last two days."
