"I don't even want to ask why we're all here, Sebastian."

I heard Imelda speak as I brought them to the Undercroft. While Professor Weasley may know about the Room of Requirement, she doesn't know about the Undercroft and what I'm planning to discuss in here.

Once we had all gone through the clock, I gathered them in a circle in the middle of the Undercroft. I looked around, all of them bore expressions of confusion as they exchanged looks with each other. Ominis was the only one who wasn't confused as he was stood, leaning against one of the pillars with his hand rubbing the bridge of his nose.

"Sebastian, why are we here?" Natty questioned.

"Well..."

"Fuck, Sebastian just explain!"

Some of our friends jumped at Ominis' sudden raise in tone with Poppy immediately clutching onto Garreth's sleeve before quickly covering up with a cough and putting her hands behind her back.

I smirked a little watching as Garreth turned away from Poppy, but I could tell his face wore a blush.

I clapped my hands together, "right! Well we're going to rescue my darling."

Violet spoke up, "but Ominis said that the Professors were investigating on that."

I sighed, "yeah, well, I highly doubt that Professor Black will do much."

Some of them nodded in agreement, while it was currently a secret from the rest of the Wizarding World, that just meant the Headmaster could approach this disappearance as leisurely as he could.

"It's obvious he isn't in any rush to find her", I added.

Poppy crossed her arms, "so? What do you suppose we do?"

I smirked at Poppy's question, "well, as I told Ominis, while Professor Weasley told me to not get involved in their investigation."

I watched as realisation flashed in some of my friend's eyes.

"She never said we couldn't investigate on our own accord."

I looked as Imelda wore a smirk that could very much rival mine, "so, what's the plan?"

-

I flickered my eyes open, only to be faced with a void of darkness. I blinked slightly at the sight of a small gathering of candles in the corner burning.

I tried to move but I couldn't as I craned my head over my shoulders to peak and saw that my hands were bound together and so were my feet.

Looking around, I didn't recognise my surroundings at all. The last I remember was an altercation with Ashok and then now I'm here.

"What the fuck?"

I cried out as tears began to stain my face. I really thought craziness was behind me with the completion of fifth year.

But it wasn't.

I heard the sound of heavy footsteps nearby as I shut my eyes, hoping they will leave as quick as they arrived.

Whoever they are.

"Wow, I'm surprised you actually got her."

I could hear as a hand connected with something, with the sound of a gentle slap, possibly on the shoulder.

"I'm proud of you son."

Son?

"Thank you, Father."

Who are they?

I wanted to open my eyes up so badly, but I couldn't, I knew that for a fact. I had to pretend for as long as I can, I need information.

"But father."

"Yes, my boy."

"About mother-"

The boy was immediately shut up, "we spoke about this. Do not mention a word to your mother."

"Yes, I understand."

Listening to their conversation, I immediately knew that this woman, this boy's mother will be of asset to me. But the only issue is that I don't know how to get with her.

I'm tied up and I don't have my wand and Salazar knows if there's anyone else here.

"I'm surprised she hasn't woken yet."

"Well, I'm sure she'll wake soon. Merlin knows we need her to."

Well, eternal sleep sure sounds nice right now.

"Come now, Ashok", my body immediately froze at the mention of his name.

"Let's go."

"Yes, father."

And with that, I felt my body slightly relax when I could hear the footsteps fade away.

Once I had a feeling that I was in the clear, I exhaled shakily before opening my eyes.

"I knew it."

I let out a scream as a hand reached for my throat. Ashok's fingers wrapped around and squeezed slightly.

"My father may be a bit of fool, but I've been watching you ever since fifth year, the prefect position helped a ton."

He grinned sinisterly, "you can't fool me."

I was about to scream again, until I felt his cold lips on mine which swallowed my scream.

Tears ran down my face as I began to think back to everyone important to me. My best friends, Sebastian and oh Merlin, Professor Fig.

If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't even be here. I wouldn't have been taught magic nor would I have attended Hogwarts. I would never have discovered my possession of ancient magic, wouldn't have my friends, no Sebastian and even with all that, I wouldn't have been able to defeat Ranrok and contain Isidora's dark magic.

I just miss him, miss everyone so much.

Then all those lovely thoughts vanished as my mind clouded once again and before I was completely gone, I caught a whiff of a familiar smell.

"Sebastian", his name rolled off my tongue lovingly before I slipped into darkness once again.

Apologies for the shorter chapter and not updating in a while, just been struggling with my mental health a bit but it's so good and I'm back to writing.

If you checked it out yet, I've also started an Ominis x Reader. It does only have a prologue but I'm hoping to get chapter 1 and 2 out very soon.

Also 115k reads, is insane. Thank you all, for being on this journey so far and I hope you guys will be here until the end.
