Birthday celebrations part 1

Stef's: POV
I'm setting up the decorations for Grace and Hope birthday party
Lena went out to pick up the birthday cake from the bakery l can't believe how fast the time went. I remember holding grace and Hope in my arms after they were first born, Margaret went along with Lena. Leaving me and Francesca, Stewart took the girls down to the beach for a few. They were getting antsy. Lena didn't tell me what kinda of cake she picked out, no matter what it is I'll eat either way

Lena's: POV
Mama and I were at the bakery picking up Grace and Hope's princess birthday cake. Mama Shannon said that David Matthews has been by the group home, twice already looking for Francesca. Apparently he doesn't seem to understand l contracted a good friend of mine to look into Mr. Matthews background, l don't know why he is so suddenly obsessed about seeing Francesca. How can somebody do that to their own flesh and blood and not have a care in the world Lena said, baby l know it's frustrating. Look at it this way, Francesca's is in a stable loving environment with two women as her parents. So don't fret eventually he'll get tired of coming up to your job, when David and McKenzie started dating, l observed him carefully he was looking for a trophy wife someone that would bare his children
I tried to warned her about him but l knew no matter what I said to her about him it was gonna cause a rift in our relationship. I saw that McKenzie was in love with David, he could do no wrong in her eyes. That's when I knew l had to let her go and found out on her own, all l know his family lives in Albany new York. My sister was the one who told me about him, l blamed myself for not being seeing the signs early on. And McKenzie will still be here Margaret says to her daughter, mama you can't beat yourself up about it, McKenzie probably wouldn't have believe you then. I just wish l knew what he wanted with Francesca Lena states, l'm here to pick up a birthday cake under the name foster Adams. Lena informed the young woman behind the counter, Lena continues talking to her mother
The girl comes back carrying a pink and purple large sheet cake that says happy birthday third birthday to Grace and Hope. Lena didn't have to worry about paying for the cake, she's paid for it when she placed the order
Lena and Margaret left out the bakery heading to the car, Lena put the cake in the back seat. She took out her list scratch off the cake, now she has to go to party city to get a few things and to toys r us. She was getting tricycles for the girls birthday present. Lena's doesn't know what her parents got the girls yet, Lena thinks back when she found out that she was pregnant with twin girls. She knew her life would never be the same again, she's thankful for having three amazing beautiful daughters and a supportive wife by her side to keep her grounded
