unexpected visitor shows up

Stef's: POV
After dropping the girls off at their grandparents's house l headed straight to work. I entered the restaurant and all my staff was surprised to see me come through the door, l told Tia not to tell anyone l was coming in to do some work on the books for the last two weeks. Stef there was a young girl who came by a few days ago asking for you Tia when I told her that you weren't here she said she would swing by sometime this week Tia tells me as l unlocked my office door. Thank you so much Tia I appreciate you letting me Stef hangs up her jacket in the closet
Can you go get me all the receipts for the last two weeks l need to do the books, don't worry I won't be here
I only came in to do some paperwork and hand out the check, can you get me the name of that flower shop in town. I wanna send Lena assorted arrangement of flowers for her first day at the new group home Stef gets logged onto the computer, l go look through the telephone book for their number and I'll bring you back your usual tea Tia before she leaves my office. I opened up the bottom drawer to take out ledger and begin Writing down a few notes until Tia comes back with the receipts, l sat here thinking about this young lady who requested to see me. The last thing I needed was my Goddaughter popping back up again begging to come stay with me again, she's been missing in action these past weeks. My Hope is she went back home to work things out with out with Naomi and Addison her parents who lived in Los Angeles
There both doctors at sea side wellness center. They didn't bother to call me to inform me that Talia ran away from home, l just shake my head. When Tia came back into my office carrying a hot pepper mint tea and in her other hand a gray pouch filled with the latest receipts along with the number of the local florist in Seattle. I thank Tia for my hot beverage and the information, she leaves my office closing the door behind, l pushed my chair back from my desk and walked over to the picture behind the large painting was the safe of all the documents and paychecks for each employee. I took out the stack of white envelopes, and locked the safe back up then put the painting up on the wall and went back to sit down at the desk putting back on my eye glasses on. I typed in the search engine of Louis' flower shop, l looked at the arrangements of flowers roses and carnations. I picked out an assortment of different kinds of roses, in pink yellow purple red and blue. Each rose held a special meaning, l wanted Lena to know how much l loved her and how proud l am of her. I filled in all the information the form asked for, in the end l keyed my credit card number. Now I'm just waiting for the confirmation number to come through, Lena should get the roses in three short hours, l enclosed a card attached to the roses. I wrote down the invoice number, after I was finished l logged off the computer
I begin going through the receipts
Adding up the last two weeks figures into the calculator and jotting all the totals. Suddenly l hear a knock on the door, l don't know how long I've been writing down the numbers in my book. There it is again another knock
I removed my glasses and laid my ink pen on the desk, come in Stef said
Tia enters inside my office. Stef that young lady l was telling you about is here to see you again, she says it's important Tia states. Did you tell her
I was busy Stef stated, l told her all that Tia said to me. Let know I'll be in five minutes l am almost done with the books, here you pass out everybody's checks while l talk to this girl who is very persistent on seeing me Stef gives Tia twenty white envelopes to hand out to the team
Tia heads out to go informed whoever this young girl is to follow to the back
When Tia reenters my office for the third time with the girl behind her

Talia l thought you went back to LA to work things out with your parents
Stef says to her goddaughter. Aunt Stef l took your advice and went home, to try to talk to them like you told me to do. But ending up getting into a big argument cause they ram sacked my bedroom while I hear visiting you, they went through all my personal belongings and when I asked them what they were looking for.
