Stef's: POV
It's been two weeks since Hope's assessment Lena was taking our daughter's diagnosis still pretty hard l knew not to push her into talking about what was on her mind. Margaret volunteered to speak to Lena, l felt this was my responsibility to see about my wife l know Margaret means well
At times l feel Lena would confined in Margaret at times instead of me. I knew it was nothing personal even though she has been a huge help with taking the girls off our hands when we needed some alone time. Maybe l'm feeling a little left out
I don't want to go to Lena cause she has enough on her plate with the contractor's taking forever with the renovations for the group home called new horizons, l'll just be glad when we leave for the trip to Montana
We're due to leave early Monday morning
I decided to rent a RV instead of us taking turns driving l go pick up the mobile home on Saturday afternoon. Lena and I went shopping for everything we needed for the road trip, Lena purchased brand new wardrobe for hope and grace cause their growing like weeds. Francesca already has gotten her clothes last week as much as I didn't like going to the mall, l wanted to some time with our oldest daughter. She drag me into about six different department stores, l can't believe l spent over six hundred dollars in thirty two pieces of clothing that's not including bras underwear sneakers socks and shoes.
Then we headed down to shoe depot
Because Francesca said they were having a big sale. So we went there and she found two pairs Converse and two UGG boots then she told about what's been happening in school lately, she's exciting about trip
When she asks me about Lena. Francesca was very transparent for her age, we never
Wanted to let our children see us in stress
Lena and I really need to sit down and talk
We pulled up to the house to see Lena outside with the girls watering her rose bush in front of the house. Hope was playing hop scotch, l helped Francesca carry her bags inside. Hope saw me run up to the car to give me a great big old hug,
Mama did you bring me something back from the store Hope Stated, l did buy some stuff for us to make chocolate sundes after dinner Stef told Hope who was smiling wide. Francesca spoke to her other mom and gave Lena a hug and she looked over to
Me, l just shrugged my shoulders hope can you help me with your sisters bags Stef says
I hand Hope two lite bags from the shoe place. I figured since it's such a beautiful day out l would put some burgers and salmon on the grill, plus make my famous cold slaw Lena tells me. Sounds good babe
Let me know if you want to help with anything Stef informs Lena, l may need your assistance with the new gas grill
Lena said. Sure let me go change into a little comfortable Stef replied as she walks in the front door and goes upstairs to give, Francesca the rest of her packages,  I knocked on the door Francesca unlocks the door so I could hand over the rest of the bags. Mama l just wanted to say thank you for taking me shopping l know sometimes you don't like it Francesca gives me a kiss on the cheek, your most surely welcome
She has certainly came out of her shell
When Francesca first moved in to our home. Francesca didn't say to much to me
I knew she was scared cause she spent majority of her life in foster care but she adores Lena cause worked with her at the group home. Francesca and I hang out sometimes, okay l'm gonna go put on a pair of shorts so I can help mommy with the gas grill Stef told Francesca. Alright momma
Mommy wants me to help prepare dinner with her Francesca replies. I left the room
Then walked up to the third floor we're our bedroom was at,
