The grand opening of new horizon part 1

Stef's: POV
Tonight's my baby's grand opening for her
new horizon group home. She manager to get everything together for this evening's event, I brought along a few of my faithful employees to help me serve the meal
We're setting up the food in the grand dining room, the party planner Lena hired
Did a lovely job on the decorations. I haven't seen Lena since she left home this afternoon. I'm sure she's around here somewhere, people were starting to arrive
The hostess was showing people to their tables. My in-laws are on their way over here with the girls, at first we weren't gonna let them attend but Lena thought it would be a good idea to introduce our family, l didn't realize that were going to be photographers coming here tonight. I would have dressed up so l could enjoy this special occasion with Lena. I probably still can, alright guys do you think you both can start going over to the tables and began putting out pitches of water on each table the silverware and plates are already out
Once you're finished with that Chris you can bring out the bowls of salads after everyone's all here. Then we can bring out the main course, l'm gonna see what time Lena wants us to serve dinner to all the guests. Stef tells Chris and Amelia as she leaves out the kitchen to go find Lena
I saw more people coming through the hotel lobby, excuse miss can you tell us where we can find the banquet hall the older man asks me. You going to walk straight down the hallway and turn then you'll see the gold and black balloons outside, there should be a young lady sitting at a table getting everyone check into the reception room Stef said to the gentleman and his companion who was on his hand. Then I went on Down to the lobby to ask the clerk we're Lena was at and he told me she was upstairs in room 313
He didn't even bother to give me a key to the room, l took the elevator up to the third floor. Hopefully she brought a set of changing clothes for me to wear for the opening, l got off on the third floor and walked down the hallway looking at the numbers on the doors, when I came to 313
I knocked on the door and waited till she comes. She sees me standing on the other side of the door with a huge smile on her face, Lena opens up the door in a bath robe
She must've just got out of the shower cause her hair was dripping wet. Hey baby come on inside l was wondering when you were going to come upstairs, l bring along something for you to wear Lena says to me
Lady you know me so well Stef replies as l lean in and kissed her on the lips. Lena breaks the kiss, then she takes me by the hand and we headed to the bedroom
Where our clothes were hung up on the closet door in black garment bags. I took a seat down on the bed, kicked off my slides
I had on earlier. Stefanie go get ready l'll be here when you get out the shower, l want us to make a grand entrance down in the banquet. Lena States as she sat in the chair to polish her toe nails
