Lena's: POV
I woke up feeling as if l got run over by a truck. Everything in my body hurts
Let me not get started on my throat
It's all achy and sore, my chest felt like it was on fire, my head feels just awful
I sit up in bed and find Hope lying across
The love seat in our room watching a Disney movie on DVD. I wonder we're Grace was at, l can barely smell anything
So l take my time getting up from the bed
Once I'm up on my feet my legs feel like jello. I hold on to something as l make my way to the bathroom to relive myself, hopefully l'm better before next weekend
The grand opening of new horizon children's home, after l was finished reliving myself l washed my face and hands over by the sink. I looked at myself
in the mirror, my curly hair was all over the place, and my skin was pale
It hurts to lift my arm up so l apply some toothpaste on my tooth brush and l brush my teeth slowly. Once l'm done l wipe my mouth with the wash cloth and go get back in bed, and put the covers on me
I don't think l took my temperature
Both of my ears are clogged up. I hear somebody coming up the steps it's probably Stef or one of the girls coming to check up on. There was a knock on the door come in l say in a low tone, Francessa enters in the room carrying a bottle of water and a coffee mug, mommy mama told me to give this to you. She's downstairs making her famous chicken soup with carrots ,celery  egg noodles and fresh cut chicken breast
Also she's made you some spicy tea with lemon ginger brandy Francessa says to me
Wow Lena States in a whisper. She handed me the mug, and sat the bottle water on the nightstand. I took a small sips of the hot tea
I try and take my drinking it, it's stronger from l remember last l could barely taste anything due to my taste buds being off
I sat the mug on the nightstand. Lena lies down the pillow and closes her eyes and drifts off to dream land, l was physically exhausted and my head was clogged up
I don't know how many times l sneeze
Maybe this Gods way telling me to rest
Something l never do cause l'm always on the go taking Grace and Hope back and forth to library for story time and to the YMCA for swimming lessons. They're be starting preschool in fall, in a couple months my babies will be turning the four
We plan on giving them a birthday party
At my parents house cause their backyard is a bigger than ours because they have a lot of land. I hear somebody come through the door, and cover me up. Baby it's just me Stef whispers in my ear, l feel her put something in my forehead hopefully it's a thermometer. My body feels like it's on fire
The beeping sounds wakes me up, slightly
Babe l'm gonna go run you a nice warm bath to bring your fever down some cause your temperature is a hundred and four
Don't worry about the babies l'm going to give them baths as well, Hope and Francessa are downstairs eating the food that was left over from the event we catered this afternoon we didn't want to throw it away so the cook put everything in containers Stef says to her sick wife.
