Lena's : POV
Being back home again we're l belong has been bitter sweet. The girls have been glued to me ever since l came through the door, especially Grace who hasn't left my side. Stef told me she's been suffering from separation anxiety, l'm going to make it a point to spend some extra time with her before her bedtime. They even made me a nice home cooked meal, unfortunately l was still on this liquid diet the doctor had me on, it wasn't their fault l couldn't eat whole foods. It seems they went through a lot of trouble to make my favorite meal
Just seeing the smiles on their round faces made my heart swell, when Francessa brought out dessert they were ecstatic cause we were having ice cream and chocolate chip pecan cookie with vanilla ice cream, l was able to eat the ice cream
Looking over at Stef who wink at me with pure joy on her face. My parents stayed over for dinner, it felt like old times again
Once we all were having dessert Stef and francessa cleared the table while the girls and l played their favorite card called go fish. I dealt the cards out while Hope and Grace waited patiently for me to pass over their cards to them. Mommy we need to keep an eye on Hope because she likes to cheat Grace says to me, oh no we can't have that now can we Gracie Lena smiles wide
No l don't mommy tell her hope pouts her lips out alright my loves let's play a nice game alright grace it's your turn first Lena said to her daughter who set out all her matches on to the table. Hope did you have a queen says Grace, nope go fish Hope replies. Mommy it's your turn now Grace tells me, l laid all my matches down with only five cards left in my hand. Hope was sorting out her cards. Mommy did you have any kings Hope states, l certainly do Lena lays it on to the table hope puts out the other king. We go back and forth until Grace's out of the game, leaving hope and l to finish playing the game. Alright babies it's bath time Stef comes into the dining room and said, aww momma can mommy finish playing go fish Hope stated, okay then it's off bubble bath land Stef replied
