arriving back at the cottage

Lena's: POV
We just pulled up to the cabin after being out for several hours. We exited the vehicle
All the nights were off except the porch light, Lena busted out laughing for no reason. My wife had a little to much to drink tonight after the stress she's been under, it was good to see her relax a bit and have some fun. Hush before you wake the whole house up babe Stef said to Lena

Stef unlocks the front door and went inside
I plopped down on the couch and kicked off my shoes turned the television then searched through the guide for a movie to watch, I saw Stef go into the kitchen to get a drink. She came back carrying  too bottles of water, and sat them down onto the table
Then took a seat beside me on the love seat
Stef removed her boots and got comfortable
I took the blanket from behind the couch
Covered us with it. I saw the fire place was lit, dad must've put some fresh wood out
Because when we left out earlier he probably went to the store and got more
I can't believe we're heading back home in three days. I'm not looking forward to going back, l have an obligation to those kids to make sure they have a safe haven. This is what l worked so hard for, l laid wrapped up in Stef strong arms. She played in my hair, something Stef always like doing

Stef just shakes her head. We'll give her some children's Motrin to see if it brings down her fever, if that doesn't work we will take grace to the hospital Stef said. Stef measures the medicine in measuring cup
And pours it then gives it to grace who makes a face, little caterpillar it's bubble gum favor Lena tells grace. The little girl drinks it, Lena's been calling Grace that when we didn't know there genders, hope's nick name was grasshopper. It was the cutest thing, the name kinda stuck
