Stef's: POV
These last few days have been crazy after everything that transpired with Shannon being arrested and being sentenced to twenty five years in prison. Lena's been handling it better than I expected, that night when she came home and told me what went down at the meeting l had a sneaky suspicion Shannon wasn't who she appeared to be but Lena needed to find that part on her own, and now we're on the plane heading to Las Vegas for the weekend
I had so much planned for us to do. We promised the kids would bring them something back our trip, usually we go to the cabin to relax. Vegas was a place we have never been before, as soon the plane took off l pulled out my hand held game and played free cell Lena decided to take a nap cause we had to get up at 6 in the morning. to make our flight that left the airport at 8:30. We had a four hour non stop ride to Las Vegas, where staying at the Hilton hotel and spa. We only brought two thousand dollars a piece between us, l use my credit card to pay for our reservations
Then purchased tickets for a show. Thank God we don't have a layover it would have been nerve racking if we needed to transfer flights, I feel like a big kid to be going to Las Vegas Nevada. I wanna visit the wax museum, try my luck at the casino
to win some big money l never gamble before. When the fight attendant came down the row, l ordered a rum and coke to drink. I looked over to see Lena was still asleep, l know she's been under a lot of stress. Hopefully this time away will do her some good, she has been trying to find a replacement to take over Shannon's job
Lena has left Sasha in charge until she hires someone else. I don't know why Lena can't just give the position to Sasha cause she's the most loyal person in that place plus Sasha goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly, in my opinion Sasha will be the perfect candidate for the job, Sasha's been there the longest
The plane comes to a screeching hult
I can't believe we're in Las Vegas already
Love wake up Stef said to Lena.
Are we in Vegas yet Lena replied in groggy voice, yes Stef States l need to go use the restroom Lena stands up and took her purse and walked towards the bathroom so she could freshener up, Stef packed up her things and put it back in her carry on bag
By the time Lena was back Stef was ready to exit the plane. Passengers were making their way to the rear, Stef hope they don't have to wait long for the Uber to arrive
And take them to the Hilton hotel and spa
