"Okay so...favourite artist" I said looking at her

"I loooove The Beatles. Yours?"

"Lately I've been into this artist called Labrinth. Do you know him?"

"Yeah. A couple songs. He's cool"

After we cleaned up, we decided to just stay in her bed and find out more things about each other.

"I feel lucky that I found you" she said out of nowhere after a couple moments of silence, which took me off guard.

"R-really?" I asked a bit shocked

"Yeah. I feel like I could stay around you constantly, even though we don't really know each other"

"Aww. Me too Bil. You are good company"

(a/n: I think you could guess what song took part of the inspiration for this book)

"You think?" She asked standing up on her elbows

"I wouldn't lie to you" I said smiling to her

"Let's run away together" she said on a serious tone, which surprised me

"Good joke Billie"

"For real. You tell your parents you want something new and to forget about you. Mine already did anyway" she laughed even though it seemed like she was trying to hide the pain.

"As much as I would love to, my parents won't be able to let me leave like that, and I can't leave them like that" her expression turned into a sad one, making me get closer to her, giving her a soft kiss

"Don't worry. One day I'll have to leave them anyway and I promise to do it with you" I said, clearly making her feel better.

"Don't forget that you promised"

"I won't. Do you promise to take me in a perfect place for us when we leave?"

"There's no perfect place on earth, but I promise I'll try to find one close to something like that" she answered, looking at the ceiling

"Why would you say that? Maybe there is one"

"I only see as perfect the place where Noah is right now. I bet he's happier than I am for sure"

I wasn't agreeing with her but I didn't want to let her know. She noticed my mood change and instantly tried to speak

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-"

"It's okay Billie. Maybe he is happy. But I still want to know why he couldn't be happy in here too"

She sat back down, getting back to looking at her ceiling. "Did you find anything new?"

"Not really, but I know I'm about to. I found out that him and Ray, the guy at whose party we met, were knowing each other. I asked Vic and she will try to arrange us a meeting" I explained to her

She shifted a little but gave me no reaction. She seemed somehow uncomfortable.

"I don't know Ava, maybe you shouldn't meet up with him. He's dangerous and you don't know what he could be lying to you about"

"I'll be fine. Plus, Victoria will be there too". I assured her

"Okay, but at least let me come with you. I promise you won't even know I'm there" she looked me in the eyes

"If that will make you feel better, fine then. I'll tell you when and where once I get an answer"

"Perfect" she leaned in for a kiss

When I got home, my dad asked questions again about where and with who I was but this time I just ignored him.
