Gajeel was out in the alleyways of Fairy Tail looking for a cat that can be his partner, like Carla and Happy. He got tired part way through and fell to the ground after he tripped on a bottle.
Gajeel: "This ain't fair... Salamander, and the Bluenette have magical flying kitty cats, so why can't I have one too?"
The sunlight brightened in front of Gajeel and he looked up to see a cat whose appearance was hidden because of the sunlight behind it. Gajeel smiled suddenly, thinking that he finally found what he was looking for.
Meanwhile, a couple approached the gift shop that Max was running.
Guy: "You don't have any Gajeel figures left, do you?"
Max: "It's nice to see some diehard fans, supporting our wizards! And you came just in time, this is the last one."
He reached under the count and brought out a figure of Gajeel. His stand also had another portion next that appeared to be able to fit something.
Girl: "Wow, there's even a stand for a cat in case he gets one!"
Guy: "Oh man, you guys think of everything."
Max: "Yeah, well we figured this would be a trend so we designed it with a future in mind, you know."
Another girl came by the stand as well.
Girl 2: "Excuse me, but do you have any figures of Yu left?"
Max: "You just came at the right time; we have a few in stocks today. This is the unlimited time only before it all sells out."
Inside the Guild Hall, a small group of wizards started to get loud.
Cana: "Jeez! Calm it down! It's barely the middle of the afternoon!"
Macao: "Well well, that's a surprise Cana, this is the first time in a while I haven't seen you booze it up after lunch."
Wakaba: "I shudder just thinking about what you've done to your stomach, it must be made of iron!"
Cana "I can hold my liquor thank you very much. When was the last time I got trashed and acted like a maniac?!"
Macao and Wakaba: "Yeah, you got a good point."
Lucy was sitting at a table with Wendy.
Lucy: "So what's got you so interested in July 7th, Year 777?"
Wendy: "Because that's the day the Dragons that raise me, and Natsu when both disappeared. I guess it's just always on my mind."
Lucy: "I wonder what happened. Cause Natsu and Yu told me that Gajeel's Dragon Metalicana disappeared on that day too."
Carla: "Do you have any thoughts on that matter?"
Lucy: "Maybe they all went on a Dragon Picnic?"
Wendy: "an interesting idea. I never thought of that one before, Now that you mention it, I've always been afraid that they just decided to abandon us. If it did happen to be the case, where would they be hiding."
Happy: "Carla!"
Happy then came up to the table, a medium sized fish.
Happy: "Isn't this the biggest mackerel you've ever seen? I figured you might be hungry so I caught you one."
Carla: "Thanks but no thanks. It smells and I don't care for fish."
Happy: "Oh, okay, then tell me what you like and I'll got get it fo-"
Carla: "Get away from me!"
Carla's sudden outburst surprised everyone at the table, even Happy.
Carla: "I don't have time to waste on someone so annoying."
