If you're reading this smile... I promise I'm smiling as I write too. I feel better doing so, and I hope you do as well. Even though it's an outward expression, smiling has a way of affecting our attitudes from the inside out. Our expressions represent, to some extent, what's inside. I don't know how to describe it, but even a forced smile helps to uplift our spirits. Our facial expressions not only represent us to others, but can even affect them, as well as ourselves. Let's try to make sure we're affecting people in a positive way. People close to us will still know when we're going through hardships. We will justifiably go through sorrows and anger, but the ability to bring a smile to our faces will in itself tell of our character to others. Everybody likes to see a smile, it doesn't need to be on a handsome man or beautiful woman, it just needs to be there. It makes me smile to think that no matter what we look like, we can compete with the best looking, most attractive people in the world with just a smile. Who hasn't experienced a rapturous feeling in the presence of an infectious smile? I truly hope and pray you experience countless smiles in your life.
