Prompt: "Where on earth did you pull 'the brilliant bearman' from?"

———

Ollie barely walked into the Ferrari garage when he let out an 'oomph' because it seemed someone ran right into him. He stumbles back and expected an apology or some sort of acknowledgement but all he heard were muffled 'in so proud of you's. That caused him to look down and see a familiar head of hair slightly cover by a Ferrari hat.

His smile wides when he realized it was you, quickly wrapping his arms around you as he said, "almost knocked me over!"

You chuckled before looking up with a toothy grin.

"I couldn't help it! You made me so nervous and then you took forever walking over" you joke and pull apart but keep an arm wrapped around his waist as his went over your shoulders.

"How did I make you nervous?" He jokes back.

"You know exactly how with your fancy maneuvers and high speeds, me and your dad practically had heart attacks each time you did something" you tell him making his shake his head at the silly worrying.

"I'm fine," he gestures to his body, "see perfectly fine"

You roll your eyes before smiling again, "you're more than fine Ollie, you did so good today!"

If anyone asked about his flushes face he'd say it was the heat and humidity still affecting him post race.

"I only got seventh place" he mumbles bashfully, trying to contain his smile that widens at your compliment.

You scoff dramatically and nudge his side, "'I only got seventh place' my ass! In your first formula one race you got seventh place! And drivers of the day!"

"Oh yeah they told me I got driver of the day, almost didn't believe them" Ollie says as your walking together to his drivers room.

"Oh please, of course you got driver of the day!"

Ollie turns to you with a teasing grin, "very confident huh? Did you vote for me y/n/n?" He asks poking your side.

You purse your lips and proudly nod your head, "of course I did, I'd like to have a word with anyone who didn't because you deserve it the most"

Ollie, again, feels his face flush for another reason than the heat. He always knew he struck the jackpot when he found you, but in this moment there was nothing he believed in more. From the moment he told you a mere 36 hours ago that he'd be in a real life formula one race to this moment now, you've done nothing but support him and tried to instill confidence in him. And he couldn't be more thankful. Your confidence in him had help him loads when he was worrying before qualifying and the race.

"Thank you y/n, really" Ollie says, pausing so he can make direct eye contact with you. He wanted to make sure you knew he meant it wholeheartedly.

Your smile, which hasn't left your face since you saw how Ollie did in FP3, some how widens.

"Of course Ollie, I'm so proud of you" you tell him, your excited voice goes soft as you take both his hands in yours, "you've done so well"

He wraps his arms around you in a tight hug, hugging you even tighter when you comment that he's still sweaty and smelly.

"Hopefully this isn't the last f1 race im in" Ollie says when you part ways. His hand goes to hold yours as you continue walking.

You scoff again, "oh please it definitely won't. I can see it now, 'The Brilliant Bearman is now Champion of the world!'" Ollie laughs at the Crofty style voice you have over your words.

"Where on earth did you pull 'the brilliant bearman' from?" He asks while trying not to laugh and disrupt his own words.

"Crofty said it and I think it's very fitting" you tease with a wide smile.

"Y'a think?" He ask and pulls you closer to his side again.

You nod your head, "yep, remember me when you're famous?" You say with a dramatic pout.

It's his turn to roll his eyes and he pushes tou away only for you to return right back to his side while laughing.

"I don't know, might be busy winning championships" he says with a mocking bored tone.

You gasp dramatically and push his side while he laughs.
