Kakashi waits in the waiting room after having his wounds treated, feeling his body tense with anticipation. His chin is on his hands as he waits to hear from Tsunade, who is working with Izayoi in the Emergency Room.
The other Genin, Jounin and Kasumi have all gotten their wounds seen to, as well.
Running footsteps reach their ears and a pair of voices float in after.
"Dad! Where's mum?!"
"Is she okay?!"
They look to see Ken and Akemi running up to Kakashi, Tenten and Neji hot on their heels.
