Maya woke up early, the soft light of morning filtering through the curtains. The first thing she felt was the warmth of Hamza's body next to hers. His arm was draped around her, holding her close even in his sleep.  A smile crept up her face, and she closed her eyes again to absorb the feel. Then she carefully turned to face him, her heart swelling with love as she watched him sleep.

He looked so peaceful, his features relaxed and softened by sleep. The slightly more grown beard on his jawline, the way his hair fell over his forehead—it all seemed so endearing in this quiet, vulnerable moment. She couldn't help but softly move hair from his forehead, smiling as she remembered the events of the previous night, the confessions, the proposal, the ring, and the Kiss.

Maya gently traced her fingers over his face, her touch light and feather-soft, not wanting to wake him. She felt a rush of emotions—love, contentment, and a sense of belonging. For the first time in a long while, she felt truly at peace.

She still can't believe it, she is here in Hamza's arms, Allah had been so kind to her.

She carefully slipped out of the bed, making sure not to wake him. The cool floor sent a shiver up her spine, but she moved quietly, wanting to savour this serene moment before the day began. She wrapped herself in a shawl and walked over to the window, pushing the curtains to shut the light coming from the slight opening of the curtain.

Maya glanced back at Hamza, still sound asleep. She couldn't help but feel a rush of love and admiration for him. The man who had once seemed distant and preoccupied was now the source of her happiness and security. She wanted to make their relationship work, to build a future together based on trust, love, and mutual respect.

Quietly, she made her way to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. She knows what Hamza prefers for breakfast, so she checked everything that will be needed and she was glad she did some basic groceries yesterday. Leaving the things to be prepared when Hamza woke up, she opened the door of the house and stepped out into the garden.

The morning air in Abbottabad was crisp and refreshing. As Maya stepped into the garden, she felt a gentle breeze brush against her skin, carrying the scent of blooming flowers and the earthy aroma of the mountains. The sky was a soft shade of blue, with a few wispy clouds lazily drifting by. Birds chirped merrily, adding a harmonious soundtrack to the peaceful scene.

The garden was bathed in the golden light of dawn, casting a warm glow over the vibrant flowers and lush greenery. Beyond the garden, the majestic mountains stood tall and proud, their peaks dusted with the last remnants of snow from the previous winter. The sight of the mountains, so serene and timeless, filled Maya with a sense of calm and wonder. She took a deep breath, letting the fresh air fill her lungs and cleanse her soul.

As she stood there, lost in the beauty of the morning, she felt a pair of strong arms wrap around her waist from behind. She blushed but smiled, and for the first time .. leaned back into his embrace, already knowing who it was.

"Good morning," Hamza's voice was husky with sleep, and the warmth of his breath against her ear sent a shiver down her spine. He kissed her neck just below her right ear gently, his lips lingering for a moment. "I missed you. Why didn't you wake me up?"

Maya turned her head slightly, her eyes meeting his. "I wanted you to rest. You looked so peaceful," she replied, her voice soft and tender, and her skin turning slightly red with blush.

Hamza tightened his embrace, resting his chin on her shoulder. "I slept so well,"

She smiled, feeling her heart swell with love. "Aap bohat thakay hoye thay ... acha howa aap ki neend puri ho gayee," she said, placing her hand over his.
