As soon as I stepped onto the stage, Flint was howling in my mind, begging. I took in a deep breath, Liz was annoying tie fuck out of me with her constant clinging.

I whispered, more harshly than I intended, "If you don't get your crummy hands off me, Elizabeth, I will. Hit. You."

Elizabeth let out a quiet whimper but didn't let go, I felt my blood boil but took in a deep breath, and my eyes landed on her... fuck she was gorgeous, her brown hair was tied into a ponytail, and her pack was surrounding her.

Damn, I was dumb.

You think.

Shut it, Flint.

Me?

It's your damn fault we're in this mess.

My... MY FAULT!?

Yes.

I sighed, and shoved Flint to the back of my mind, and focused on the task at hand, and not get distracted by the scent of lilacs and birch trees, Jax was getting restless beside me, and I felt a pang of sorrow for my best friend, he didn't deserve a mate like Elizabeth, he deserved someone so much better.

I mentally prepared myself for what I was about to do and swallowed hard as I walked up to the microphone, and spoke loudly for my pack to hear.

"Aylean come up here, and her pack." I made sure my voice was low and commanding and I saw a flicker of annoyance form on her face, and
it took everything in me not to smirk.

Her beautiful brown eyes locked on mine, I swallowed and she broke the eye contact first, Flint whined in my brain. Stupid wolf.

Shut up.

Sorry, I'm just pissed.

Well, don't blame it on me.

Sorry.

I watched as her brother's hand rested and squeezed her hand, and I had to swallow back the sliver of jealousy that formed in the pit of my stomach.

"No." I had to hold back the growl after hearing her utter the word. I ignored the shocked gasps and shocked whispers from my pack, I was actually growing fond of her defiant nature, and Flint huffed in agreement.

I clutched onto the microphone, my knuckles turning white, and I could see a faint smirk on my best friend's face, glad to see he was enjoying himself.

I took in a deep breath, uttering the word no one in my pack had ever heard me say other than my family, "Please..." Once more the shocked expression and sounds went to deaf ears for me.

I watched as she finally walked up to the stage and I had to hold back the howl of approval that wanted to escape my mouth because of my wolf, damn her scent was driving me insane.

"Why is She up there?" Lydia whispered to Logan, both of their eyes wide in confusion, more uttered words were scattered across the pack.
