Grace's P.O.V
My date with Chester yesterday was honestly amazing. He listens to me, he understands me. I can tell him the most stupidest story, and he wouldn't care, he'll find it funny. He's amazing. I can't believe I broke down in front of him. I only break down in front of people who I can trust. So that may be saying something...I sigh as I get out of bed. I look at the time. I have an hour before I need to get to school and getting dressed doesn't take me that long..
*45 minutes later...*
Shoot, shoot shoot. I'm running late. I went back to sleep and now, well just look. I quickly throw on a dress and comb my hair. I throw things I may need in my purse and then I leave
*Later*
I run into the building. I sign my name in the back and I run up the steps. Yes I don't have a first period class, but something may go on. I go upstairs and I make it inside my classroom and I check my watch. Class starts in five minutes. I slump in my chair and groan very loudly. I hear footsteps outside, but I don't pay attention. Suddenly, someone is rubbing my back. I jerk up and I see Chester
"Rough morning?" He asks
"Yeah. I woke up a little bit late and barely got here. I think I'm missing my coffee." I say as I ruffle my hair. I sigh
"Oh you mean this?" Chester says, and he reveals a coffee from behind him.
"How did you-nevermind, just give it here." I practically snatch it from him and I drink. I start coughing as it went down the wrong hole. I can see Chester trying not to laugh.
"Thanks Chester" I say my voice raspy, from coughing. He gives me a nod and he walks out, just in the time for the first bell to ring.

Hannah comes in as I am writing things on the board
"So, how was your date with Chester? Was it magical? Was it romantic? Are you in love? When is the wedding?" She starts rambling on and on
"Um, first, you have to meet my friend Mamrie. You'll love her. Second, it was a nice date yes."
"Where did he take you?"
"The carnival."
"The carnival? What are you guys, 5?" She then snorts but tries to cover it up
"Actually, I enjoyed it. I never really been to one before, it was nice. I won him a dog." I laugh and she laughs as well
"Chester must have been upset that you won him the dog. He wants to impress you. Wow Grace, you know how to break a man." Hannah then just leaves and my first class walks in.
*End of Class cause I can*
The bell rings and the students start to scramble out, but Vanessa stays.
"Yes Vanessa?"
"Oh, um, I'm supposed to give you this note from Mr.See. I didn't peep." She says quietly and she gives it to me
"Hey, are you ok, you seem, out of it?" I ask, concerned. Vanessa is a good girl and I wanna cheer her up.
"Oh it is nothing really. My crush rejected me..." She says
"Aw sweetie, I'm sorry to hear that. Well look at it this way. Take this from me because I have experience with this. Even as an adult, it's hard. But one measly crush is fine Vanessa. He probably isn't even worth it! There is probably a guy out there who is DYING to date you! Keep your eyes open." She sighs but smiles at me.
"Thanks Ms.Helbig. Or should I be calling you Mrs.See in a few?"
She says with a wink and before I can say anything else she runs out. That girl
I open the note and I read it
Meet at the haunted locker. There's a surprise at the end of the day. I then turn it around and on the back is the "haunted locker" I laugh a little. I can't wait till the school day is over
*Later*
The last bell rings and I'm finally able to see Chester. I pack everything up. I make my way up the stairs and I get to the haunted lockers, but, I see he isn't there. I frown a little, but proceed to the locker. There is a note taped on it. It has Grace with a little heart around it. I smile and read the note
"Walk out those double doors for your surprise."
I look in front of me and I see the double doors, that lead to the roof. I slowly push the doors and I see Chester, awaiting with a picnic set-up
"Chester!"
