We got in the car and drove off from the school.
Me: Good job Jay.
Jalen: Thanks boo
We we got home me, Jalen and Tre hung out in my backyard for a little bit.
Tre: Everybody is coming over tomorrow. For a pool party, Jalen.
Jalen : Ight fam.
Tre: Imma go in and go pee.
Me: Okay
When Tre left it was just me and Jay. I liked it. I liked him. I just didn't want to tell him because I didn't know how he felt. I didn't want to get rejected and ruin our friendship. We have been bestfriends since we were 3 when I moved here.
Jalen: Baby?
Me: Yeah papi?
Jalen: Can I tell you something?
Me: Always.
He scooted. Closer to me and I laid my head on his shoulder.
Jalen: I like you. No, I love you. I always have.
Me:You do?

Me: Yes. I always have. I was scared because I didn't know how u felt.
He pulled me in closer, his arm around me. Us sitting on the ground.
Jalen: Baby?
Me:What?
Jalen: Will u be my baby?
Me: Always and forever.
He puts his hand on my shoulders and we lean in. His lips are so soft. He's perfect. And now, he's mine. I never thought this would happen. Jalen and me. A thing. How?
Jalen: Hey, ma.
Me: Yeah papi?
Jalen: From now on u call me papi and I call u mami. Ok, mami?
Me: Okay, papi.
We just sat there for a little bit. Then Tre walked out.
Tre: I see your plan worked nigga.
Jalen: stfu
Tre: My bad, my bad.
We were still hugging.
Me: What plan.
Jalen: nothing.
Tre: His plan to make u his girl. Or his, mami.
I giggled. I guess Tre knew all all about this plan.
Jalen: Well I'm getting tired so I'll see you tomorrow, mami. Goodnight. I love you.
Me: Goodnight, papi. Love you too.
