Chp 8. A Solution?

Annabeth's P.O.V.

She was talking to the girls when she turned to see Percy fall.

"Aaahhh!!" All the girls shrieked

Oh no!

"Not now!" I said as I ran to him

All the boys lifted him up and laid him on one of the tables.

He laid there got a few minutes and then started shaking.

I immediately grabbed his hand. He stopped for a little bit or at least slowed down.

"Great! Now we are going to be late!" I said

"Well... I'm sure they will understand" Alexis said

"Just calm down." Piper said in a calm voice probably using charm-speak

"What if..." Alexis started to say "I mean.... When you were having that night terror thing Percy kissed you and you went back to normal.... Do you think that it could bring him back to normal?"

I looked over at him. Lightly shaking with a scared look on his face. "I guess I could try.." I said

I leaned over and pressed my lips to his an held it there a little longer.

I released and everyone watched him to see if he might awake.

He stirred and eventually stopped shaking. After about five minutes, Percy started to sit up and looked completely normal.

"What?!" He said questionably

"What do you mean? "What?!" "Leo asked

"Well it stopped right in the middle. Usually when I have a flashback it will finish the scene of what's happening." He said confused

"It worked!" Piper shrieked

"What worked!? Percy still was confused "You still haven't told me what happened!"

"I'll explain later!" I said "we are going to be late!"

I grabbed Percy by his hand and led him to Half-blood hill to catch the taxi I had called.

I followed Percy into the cab and after we started moving for awhile there was silence.

"Percy, it will be okay." I said soothingly while leaning my head on his shoulder and holding his hand

"What happened?" He asked quietly so the driver didn't think we were crazy

"Well.... We were all talking and then you passed out with another flashback." I said

"And....."

"You started shaking and all that stuff so Alexis brought up when you kissed me to stop my night terror. She said to try kissing you to see if it worked. I kissed you and you stopped shaking. We thought it only stopped that but when you woke up and said it was incomplete, that means that it did work but it takes awhile to take effect." I explained to him

"Mr. an Mrs. ......." The taxi driver started

"Jackson" Percy said with a smirk on his face as he looked at me

I smiled. I liked the sound of that.

"Mr. and Mrs. Jackson, we have arrived." The taxi driver finished

"Thank you!" I said as Percy handed him some cash

We walked up to the doors of the one and only Empire State Building.

"600th floor please" Percy said as we approached the desk

"Mr., There is no 600th floor." Said the man sitting there

"We have a special appointment.." Percy said with one of his scary looks

"Sorry sir! Right this way!"

He guided us to the elevator and pressed the special button that would led us up there. "Have a good day mr. And mrs." He said as he left us

Percy put his arm around my waist and leaned towards my lips.

He pressed and moved his against mine until the elevator door dinged.

I took Percy's hand in mine. Well this is going to be interesting!
