Percy's P.O.V.
I kept my lips locked and synced into Annabeth's as we rode down the elevator.
I moved my hand to her lower back and she put her hands through my hair.
When we finally broke for a breath she pulled me in for a hug.
I wrapped my arms around her and put tested my chin on the top of her head.
"What were you talking about with my dad?" I asked quietly
It had really shocked me to see them both sitting there after I woke up and irked me to know what they were talking about.
"Percy... It's not that big of a deal."
"But I wanna know!" I whined
Annabeth giggled.
"Babe, please!" I said
"No!" She said in a stern and motherly voice
She turned to face me.
"Let's just get back to where we were." She said as she got up on her tippy toes and leaned towards me.
She put her lips to mine when the elevator dinged.
I grabbed her hand and we made our way through the Empire State's lobby.
After we got out I went up to call for a taxi but Annabeth pulled me back.
"What?" I asked
"Your dad told you that you have to tell your mother. Right?" She said
"Well.... We don't have to do that now!"
"Oh yes we do! It takes a long time to get up here and I am not going to waste money so you can take a separate trip up here."
Or are you too scared." She added
"I am not!" I said
"Then prove it! I don't wont to tell your mother but we owe her that much and more for all she has done for us." she said
"I hate it when your right." I said
She laughed.
"When am I ever not!" Annabeth said in a smart tone
She grabbed my hand and started pulling me through the streets.
*****
*Knock!Knock!Knock!*
"Oh! Hello!" My mom said as she opened the door
I gave her a hug and kiss on the cheek. And she gave Annabeth a big hug.
"Hi mom." I said
"Hi Mrs. Jackson!" Annabeth said in her sweet fake voice
"Well what brings you two here!"
"Uummmm... Mom. We have something serious to talk to you about."
I put my hands around Annabeth's waist.
"Oh." My mom said glumly "Is there something wrong."
"Kind of" Annabeth replied
"Well why don't you two come on into the kitchen." My mom said leading us there
I pulled out a chair and pushed it against Annabeth's. I put my arm around her and held her hand with the other.
"Ok!" My mom said sitting down across from us
"Mom, you know about the flashbacks and nightmares right?"
"Yes..." My mom said in a concerned voice
"Well to help with that,...... Annabeth and I have been sleeping together." my mom's jaw dropped "Just sleeping!" I quickly added
"Oh.... Percy that's not the smartest idea. You know that it could lead to temptations and..."
"Wow!" Annabeth said "I promise we haven't done anything!" she said "Not that I wouldn't want to she mumbled and looked at me and winked."
It took me a second to process an then I spoke.
"Mom, we went to see Apollo and he said that it'a a side effect from Tartarus and the solution....." I said
"What?" My mom asked
"Mom. You can't freak out. The solution is that me and Annabeth have to..... Well..... We have to do it. "Sleep together." I finished
"You mean you have to have sex?" My mom asked
"Yes" Annabeth said looking at the ground
I stared out the window and tried to focus on the moon lace flower I had gotten from Calypso.
"What do you want me to say?" My mom asked
Annabeth and I turned to face her.
"Dad asked that we get your permission first."
I told her about the deal and she looked to us.
"Percy, I give you my permission, but please, you must not abuse it." She said
Annabeth looked up at me and smiled.
"Thanks mom." I said
"Thanks Mrs. Jackson" Annabeth said
We both stood up and put the chairs back.
"I am going to use the restroom real quick." Annabeth said as she started walking away
"Ok." I said
"Percy." My mom said as she left
"Yes ma'am." I answered
"You treat her with respect! Do not use her! She is sweet and treats you well!"
"Mom!" I said
"I'm serious Perseus!"
"Mom, I love her more than anything in the world! I would never disrespect her!"
"Good!" My mom said with a smug look on her face
I heard the door open and walked over to greet Annabeth.
As I walked I started to shake.
"Percy!" My mom screamed
The last thing I remembered was hitting the floor in blackness as a wave of blond hair went past me.
