Chp 29. It's Done

Percy's P.O.V.


I didn't know if I should tell Nico or not if I knew about them.

I decided to listen to the others and just annoy him.

I saw Annabeth walking down with her cabin as my usual group of us guys messed around at Jason's table.

"So I here you got some last night..." Leo said to me laughing and glancing over at Nico

"Who told you that?" I asked claiming it wasn't me

"Oh.... You know that some people can see two dark figures walking through the woods in the dark from their cabin." Jason said to me while eyeballing Nico where he couldn't see

"Everyone saw you coming back late last night." Leo said

"Psshhh... Yeah...." Nico said awkwardly

"Well that wasn't me." I said winking at Leo and Jason

"Yeah! It was!" Leo yelled trying to step it up

"No! It wasn't!" I said beating the table trying to keep the act going and not laugh

Nico got a little hesitant when I hit the table.

"Besides Percy, we know it wasn't Leo, Nico, or Me!" Jason said

"Wow!" Alexis said walking over

"Guys, let's calm down!" Nico said a little freaked out

"Yeah, let's calm down!" Jason said.........

"NO!!!" I yelled "I will NOT calm down!! I will NOT sit here and let you accuse me of-"

"Hey! Guys! Chill!" Piper yelled

I instantly felt myself calm down from my fake acting.

She was obviously using charmspeak.

She got up on the picnic table next to Jason.

"Real smooth Piper, but I'm in the middle of getting my butt cleared for something I didn't do." I said

"Oh yeah but I'm sure you most likely did whatever they're talking about as long as its wrong." Someone said walking over

We all turned to Annabeth as she walked over and sat in my lap.

"We're talking about you and Percy getting in last night." Leo said

"You mean getting it 'on'?" Asked Annabeth trying to start her nerd stuff

"Nooooo.... I don't think that's how 'it' works" said Leo being perverted

He did some finger motions that were uncalled for because everyone knew what he meant.

"Oh Leo!"

"Why?!"

"Gross!"

"You perv!!!"

Everyone shouted while some laughed.

"Sorry! I am just getting the point across!" He laughed in defense

"We did not!" Annabeth said

"Yeah, I would not be up this early if we did!" I said as everyone laughed and Annabeth put her head on my shoulder

"Awww! You guys are so cute!" Jasmine said coming over to Piper and handing her what I guessed was some type of schedule for their cabin

"Anyways!" Leo said eyeballing Jasmine

"That was not us!" I said

"Yeah! We've been sneaking around for years! I promise you'll never see us!" Annabeth said with a grin

I laughed and kissed the top of her head.

"Well then who was it?!" Jason yelled because it sure wasn't Piper and I. "I promise I would already be bragging about it by now!" He said glancing at Nico as Piper blushed a bright red

"What are we talking about?" Jasmine asked in her peppy Aphrodite child accent

"Some love birds were sneaking around last night and got back to the cabins late and it was MOST DEFINITELY PERCY AND ANNABETH!!!" Leo said yelling at the end

"Oh." Jasmine blushed nervously

"Yeah." Nico said staring at his feet

"Was not me and that's all I have to say!!!" I came back

"Once again! No one else would do that!" Leo said

"Okay! Okay!" Annabeth shouted "It's time for breakfast so we can finish this later." She got up and we all walked over to our tables

We ate breakfast and Jason and I talked as usual from our lonely tables but Nico was quieter than usual so he didn't say much.

"Just look at him." Jason whispered with a mouthful of eggs while gesturing to Nico

He sat there looking into space.

Not really.

He was staring at the Aphrodite table to one specific person whom would occasionally look up an make eye contact with him.

"What do we do?" I asked

"I don't know but let's do it fast, I suggest tonight but you're the one with the daughter if Athena so let her come up with something." He said

"Yeah, I guess but she's been so busy with college preparation and working on those phones that-"

"Wait what?" Jason's eyes lit up as he heard the word phone

Oh no.

I wasn't supposed to tell anyone.

Oh well.

"Ok...." I said slowly "You can't tell anyone but Annabeth has been working on these phones that will allow demigods to use because of some type of chip that keeps the phone from sending off signals to the monsters and she's having Leo build it....."

After having to thoroughly explain the phones to Jason who was in utter shock and kept glancing over at Piper who would smile at him and i could help but notice Drew (the old counselor) who kept staring at me mischievously.

Anyways, I decided it was nothing important based on other things I've faced.

Besides, I love Annabeth and want to be with her.

So, I went to my usual sword training.

Annabeth's P.O.V.


While Percy and everyone else were at their usual training, I convinced Chiron to let me go check on Leo's work.

I arrived in the woods at the Bunker 9 workshop where Leo usually worked.

It was broad daylight so I jumped behind a tree as I saw someone come out.

Oh great.

It was Alexis.

No.

I'm just not even going to question it.

I knocked at the door and a greasy face & haired Leo answered with a crazy grin.

"What?" I asked about to laugh

"It's done!" He said

"Oh gods! Let me see!" I said pushing past him and into the large room

He laughed.

"Over there!"

He gestured toward a large work bench that sat in the left corner.

In a small, clear, glass, display case was a small chip

"Oh!" I said in aw as Leo picked it up

"Now all we need are the actual phones." I said "I think we should make them to save the campers money. I talked to Chiron and he said he would donate some of the strawberry profits to make new phones. I have another set of plans for the phone so you can just stop by my cabin tonight to pick them up. Ok?"

"Ok." He said putting the chip back

"Ah Leo, it's great an it's a perfect size." I said not taking my eyes off
the chip "Do you think it will work?"

"Yeah. It was difficult to read Dadelous ' prints but now that I've done it we'll be able to make them quickly including the actual phones though I'll have to make a prototype first once you give me the prints." Leo replied

"Well the other ideas I-" I started

"Nope!" He smiling throwing his hands up "I don't need all of your smarticle information, I'll get the prints tonight!"

I glared at him. "Fine." I said turning and walking out the door

"Bye!" He said laughing knowing he purposely tried to offend me

"And good job!" I yelled closing the door

I heard a yelled thank you and as I turned to look back at the door, I ran into someone and we tumbled to the ground.

"Wow!" I yelled as landed on top of him and he let out a pained grunt

"Ugh! Hello to you too!" He said laughing as I looked down to see it was Percy

I started to laugh as he kissed my head.

"What are ya doing, Wise Girl?" He asked

"Well nothing now but I need to go do some training."

"You can come train at my cabin." He said with a smirk

I giggled and kissed my Seaweed Brain.

"I wish." I said giggling while breaking away from the kiss

"Of course you do." He said with another laugh

We sat up and he leaned his head towards mine and just as our foreheads met-

"Wow! Guys! The woods are Nico and Jasmine's spot!"

Percy stood up to jokingly shove Leo.

"Really?" Percy asked obviously annoyed but still looked like he though it was a little funny

Leo laughed as Percy took my hand and pulled me up.

"What are you doing Leo?" I asked

I looked at him to see that he had cleaned up all the grease from his hands and face and had even changed his shirt.

We'll that's odd, he never tries to look nice.

Oh well.

It was probably for Alexis.

I don't see why they just don't go out already.

My train of thought was stopped when Leo replied.

"Well, it's time for lunch and I'm making sure that you two show up."

"Oh......Fair enough." I said smiling

Percy laughed and grabbed my hand.

We walked to lunch with our little greasy haired third wheel trailing behind.
