Chapter 36

Sorry for not posting :P OH, and in this chapter, Paul doesn't have kids yet.

When we got to Paul's house, his wife Colidagh was standing outside. As we pulled into the driveway, she put one hand on her back and waved. I could tell that she was pregnant, at least 5 months. Paul honked the horn back and then we stopped at the front of the garage. Paul climbed out and walked over to Colidagh. He kissed her on the cheek and the bent down on one knee and kissed her stomach. So cute. I climb o of the car and then the others do too.I take Hunter and walk over to her an hug her.

"Hi Colidagh. Thanks so much for letting us stay here." I say.

"Oh, no problem sweeetie. I know you're having a hard time. And trust me," she says as she pushes a strand of hair behing my ear, "things will get better. I promise." I smile and hug her.

"SAM!" Harry calls from the house, "C'mere!" I walk over to him and step inside. The house is really nice and big.

"They have you and Hunter in this room." He walks up the stairs and I follow. He takes me to the last door in the hallway and we go in. He puts our bags on the bed and opens Hunter's pack-n-play. I put him inside and let him nap. I quietly unpack my things. I take my shirts and put them in the empty dresser. I put my pants and skirts in another and then put my toiletries in my personal bathroom. When I finish unpacking, I walk into Sydney and Harry's room.

"HEy guys." I say as I walk in. Sydney looks up from her bag.

"Hey SAmmy!" She says,"Whats up?"

"Nothing. Hunt is asleep and I finished unpacking." I say as I walk over to the bed. I sit down and Syd comes and sits next to me. We are quiet for a bit but then Sydney breaks the silence.

"So uh, you know that Niall is coming, uh right?" She asks.

"Yea. Lou told me." I say looking at the ground.

"Are you okay with that?" She asks, I can tell thaat she is worried about it.

"Uh, I guess. I mean, I don't know actually. I guess that Im pretty nervous."

"I bet."

"But like, what am I supposed to do? Be like, 'oh, I don't care that you slept with someone else. Its no big deal.' I am just so confused about what Im going to do!"

"Don't worry Sam," She says putting her arms around me, "I will help you and so will Melissa. Plus, Lou and Haz said they were going to talk to him before you two do."

"Ok," I say, "Thanks. Im going to go talk to Colidagh."

"Ok, bye." she says as I walk out the door. I go down the stairs and into the kitchen.

"Hi Sweety," Colidagh says, "Would you like some tea?"

"Sure" I say, sitting on the stool behind the countertop. She grabs two mugs from the cabinet and puts a tea bag in each of them. She pours the hot water from the tea pot in them, and let the tea brew.

"What would you like in it?" She asks me.

"Just milk please." I say, and she gets milk from the fridge. She pours some into each cup and gets a spoon from the drawer and stirs the two teas. She slides the cup to me and I say thank you. I lift it up the my lips and blow on the tea to cool it. I take a sip and out the cup back down. Colidagh does the same and then sits beside me.

"So, uhm," I start to say, "when will Niall be here..." I trail off.

"Tonight." She says, putting her hand on my knee, "around 8." I look at the clock. Its 4 so I have only 4 hours to prepare myself.

"Oh, ok." I say and I take another sip of tea. We are both quiet for a bit, but Colidagh breaks the silence.

"You know what, Sam," She says, " I don't reall yknow what to say, but I think if you talk to Niall, I think that things will get better."

"You think so?"

"Yeah. I know that what he did was wrong, but do you know that when he came over the week before you moved in, he came here and talked to me for hours about you. He also had me help him plan a trip for you. He loves you. He really does Sam." She says.

"I love him too. But, I don't know if I can forgive him. He slept with another woman."

"I know sweetie, but then again, he was really drunk. And, he rarely gets that drunk. You know what, hes going to be here in 4 hours so why dont you take a nap and then get ready." I nod and go up the stairs. I go into my room and lay in bed. I sleep until 7 and realize Colidagh took Hunter for me. I feel like such a bad mom. I go into the living room to see Colidagh playing with Hunter.

"Hi." She says, "Paul, Haz, Lou, and Melissa went to get Niall."

"Ok" I say, "but wheres Syd?"

"Shes in the shower. Im surprised you didn't hear her singing." She laughs.

"I lived with her for 3 years, I learned to tune it out." I laugh back. I go and pick up Hunter. I kiss his cheek.

"Lets go get you ready." I say in my baby voice. I go upstairs with him. I put him in a blue onsie with a penguin on it. I look at the clock. Its 7:30. They will be here soon. I put Hunter in the crib and he plays with his blue elephant. I put on a pair of light blue skinny jeans and a pink t-shirt with a panda on it. I put my hair up in a sock bun and put on mascara. I don't wear a lot of make up, only on special occasions. I put a pair of neon mismatching socks on, and I hear the door open. My heart stops and I hear footsteps running up the stairs. Melissa runs into the room and Sydney follows.

"Hes here Sam." Melissa says.

"Ready? " Syd asks.

"Not at all." I say, and I pick up Hunter and walk downstairs.
