Chapter 38

"Babe," Niall said as he pulled away from the kiss, "I missed you."

"Not as much as I did." I said, sitting down on the couch. Colidagh handed Hunter to me, "I honestly hated you, but loved and missed you at the same time." Ni hugged me and Hunter yawned.

"Im going to make him a bottle." Niall said, and he walked out of the living room. I went upstairs and got out Hunter's pajamas. I lay him on the changing table and put his diaper on. Then, I remember, he has his last chemo session tomorrow!

"Niall!" I yell and he runs up the stairs.

"Sam? What! Is everything ok?" he said bursting into the room.

"Yea, I just remembered Hunt has his last chemo session tomorrow. Can you tell everyone? I want them there."

"Really? Oh yea. I will tell them." He smiled, "what time are we leaving?"

"Tomorrow morning at 10." I say.

"Ok." Niall says. He hands me Hunter's bottle and then he leaves. I put Hunter's pjs on him and then lay him down in the crib. I give him his bottle and he takes it. He closes his eyes and sucks on the bottle. I walk out of the room and quietly close the door. Everyone is sitting in the living room chatting.

"Im going to go to bed." I say, poking my head in the doorway.

"Ok. Goodnight." they sll say.

"Night."

"Ill be up in a minute Sam." Niall says and I nod my head and go back to my room. I go into the bathroom and put on my pajamas. I go back into the bedroom and quietly pull the covers of the bed back. I climb in and pull the covers over me. I layed there for a bit, and heard the door open. Niall comes in, closes the door and crawls in bed. He wraps his legs around my body.

"I miss laying with you." He whispers.

"Me too." I say, and he hugs me tighter.

"I love you more than I love food." He jokes.

"Really?", I ask, "that much?"

"10 times more." He says as he buries his face into my neck.

"I love you more." I say, and I feel his smile on my neck. I fell asleep happy for the first time in a week.
