Poem Thirty-Eight ♬ - The Way of the Jedi

15 2 8

Keeping balance,
Yet the Light Jedi only keep the light,
As Dark Jedi keep the dark.
What is balance?

The Light Jedi are of the Order
And the Dark are of the Sith.
If this is so, who keeps the balance?
Gray Jedi.

They walk the line between Light and Dark,
Staying away from the two Codes,
For they made their own.
The Gray Jedi.

That's why the silver relics are hidden,
Or stolen,
And waiting to be used in battle again,
Even though their owners are long dead.

Of any race or skill set,
The Force may choose.
Under the Republic, Old or New,
Of under the Empire, it's center corrupted by greed.

Yet, Jedi shift as easily,
As easy as the sand on Tatooine or Jakku.
The heroes might even be such unknowns,
Found by the ones to put their gift to good use.

But, no matter what,
A Jedi's destiny is of balance,
Even if they aren't Gray.
The Light and Dark play their role, too.

The Force guides the balance,
For who would willingly be put out of balance?
The Dark does their work,
While the Light does theirs.
The Gray just has to keep them in check.

And this is the way of the Jedi.
Of all Jedi,
Good, bad,
Or even neutral.

Finally finished this, hm? Been a while. Kind of a scrap, though. Not very good, but I wanted it finished. Hehe.
