"Hey Y/N! Do me a favour?" You hear your older sister call up the stairs to you.

"That depends. What do you want?" You call back, pausing the YouTube video you were watching.

"Come down!"

You sigh and close the lid of your laptop. You shuffle over to the stairs and walk down them, into the living room where your sister and her friends occupy the TV and sofas. You stand in front of them, bitch face in place.

"What is it?" You ask her. She sits in the middle of them, right at the centre of attention.

"We need more food and coke."

"Mum said you're not allowed to take drugs in the house."

"No, stupid. Coca Cola. We ran out." She says and her friends laugh. You give them the finger then cross your arms.

"What does that have to do with me?" You ask, knowing full well what she wanted.

"Go and get some. I'll give you money and you can keep the change." She says.

"Um no. See ya." You turn around to start walking up the stairs but she gets up and grabs your arm, turning you back around.

"Hey, I already said I'll give you the change. What more do you want?"

"Hm. Some of the food. At least half of it."

"But-"

"Listen. If you try to fight me on this..." You step forward, stuffing your hands on your hoodie's pockets. "...you're gonna have a bad time."

"What? Oh, shut up and go, you can half the change and the food, I don't care."

She takes money out of her pocket and holds it up. You grab it and head out the door, hearing her mutter "she's so difficult" to her friends as you leave. You smirk to yourself, glad you'd annoyed her.

You walk down the street to the nearest convenience store. Once you'd arrived, you walk into the store. There wasn't really anybody here, only a single mother with a loud crying child. You walk around the store, grabbing as much junk food as you can afford, plus a large bottle of Coca Cola.

Just as you were about to grab the last bag of Doritos, the loud child decides to also grab the bag. You tug on it but he holds on firmly.

"Mine!" He yells.

"Hey! I saw it first!" You say, tugging again.

"Mine!" He repeats.

"What are you, a seagull? Stop being childish!" You tug the bag one last time but the child holds tight. The mother stands there, one her phone.

"Is he bothering you, Y/N?"

You jump at the sound of your name. You turn to see Chan, a boy from your class at school. You were quite friendly with him, as he didn't seem to have any friends. You always greet him with a wave as you pass him in the corridors in school and he always blushes red and waves back. Right now, he doesn't seem shy at all and he's wearing one of the store t-shirts, so you assume straight away that he works here.

"Hey Chan. Uh, no, I'm fine. Let me just-" You yank the bag as hard as you can without hurting the child but he just keeps holding on. "Let go you little-"

Before you can call him one of your most colourful swear words, Chan walks over and kneels in front of the child.

"Hey there buddy. How about you let my friend have her Doritos, hm?" The child shakes his head adamantly and Chan leans in little toward him. "Hey listen. Doritos are lame. I can get you something much better. Would you like that, buddy?"
