The news flashed across the screen with the ticker tape reading 'Breaking News'. Whatever was the news report was about to report, I knew it had something to do with Antonio's situation. I knew my position and played it well. Whatever history Antonio and his family had with the streets, I would take no part in. I wasn't that type of female to dip my hand in taking peoples business. I had other plans in mind and take someone else's life, I would leave that to the big dogs. My eyes were glued to the TV as the report spoke "A unidentified body was found in a dumpster behind a super Walmart just south of Interstate fifteen." My heart started racing. "Police are asking if anyone has information to please come forward." Everything went mute after that. My main concern was Antonio. I didn't know what was about to happen, but whatever it was I need to be ready.
Antonio clouded my thoughts. Was he okay?, did something happen?, was it Mateo?, I ran over to the phone to dial Antonio, but before I could pick up the phone started ringing.
Lord please let this be Antonio...
