philly: you can keep it, it suits you more anyways

philly: now stop texting me and eat

phil made a choking sound, and dan looked up from the screen to him. he found it amusing, the effect he had on phil and phil felt embarrassed.

"don't text me things like that when you're sitting across from me," phil mumbled, shoving a forkful of rice in his mouth. dan just giggled and continued eating his food.

"we need to put something on your bruises, or it'll leave a mark," phil said again and dan nodded. he was feeling oddly comfortable around phil, and in his apartment. he felt like he had been here a thousand times whereas this was the first time he's ever stepped in this house.

"i need to take a shower as well," dan scrunched his nose and phil smiled at him.

"i figured you would, so i bought the shower gel you use at home," phil said and dan couldn't help but smile at him.

"thank you," dan mused and took a sip of water from his glass.

"phil?" he called and phil looked up from his almost empty plate.

"yeah?" he said with a mouthful and dan giggled at his adorableness.

"thank you, for letting me stay here," he looked down at his folded hands and phil offered him a smile.

"hey," dan looked up. "i'm really happy you're here, it's a change from always living alone," phil said and dan gave him a dimpled smile. it was the most both of them had smiled in a while and both of them felt extremely happy around each other.

"where's your family?" dan asked, getting up and taking his plate and well as phil's, but phil stopped him.

"you don't have to do that," phil blushed, stopping dan but he just shook his head.

"oh c'mon phil it's nothing," he brushed him off and kept the dishes into the dishwasher.

"thank you," phil got up and they both went into phil's room, plopping on bed.

"to answer your question, they're up in the north," phil laid back, and dan couldn't help but stare at him. phil was actually the most beautiful human dan had ever seen. but he didn't tell him that.

"i'm gonna go and take a shower now," dan muttered instead, and phil nodded telling him where the towels and other toiletries are kept, to which dan just thanked him and nodded again.
