Mark

Practice and promotions are taking up all my time nowadays. I miss just lounging in Jess' apartment and just cuddling watching movies and talking about random stuff. Though we live in the same apartment building, I only see her a few minutes each day when either I or she drops by and says 'hi' or 'goodbye'. Her business is also making her busy, plus she's already thinking of opening another one in Jeju. She just went there the other day with Vic and GD and she hasn't come back yet. 

I miss her already. 

I call her during our lunch break. We've been in the practice room almost the whole morning. It's only a few days before the KCON and everybody's at edge because we haven't had time to practice during the past few weeks since our schedule was full. 

"Hey, babe. How's it going? When are you coming back? I miss you." I tell her. 

"I miss you more, Mark. GD and I just went to the site this morning and I suddenly remember our date last time." She giggles. 

I smile at the memory, too. I hope we get to have that time again. "Just the two of you? Where's Vic?"

"He woke up late...there's this party last night. You know him...he just disappeared again."

What? I remember how she partied last time. 

"So, you went to this party?"

"Yes, Mark. I can actually imagine you getting annoyed again. I wish I can see that..." she laughs. "But, don't worry. I didn't go dancing with any guy..OK?" 

She knows me too well. "Hm....you sure?" I tease, although a part of me is steaming.

"Uhuh...I promised you last time, didn't I?" 

Yes she did. I just have to trust her on this. 

"So, when are you coming back?" 

"Tonight. You busy? How about dinner?"

"Wait..." I have to ask JB about our schedule. "Sorry, babe. We have to go to Incheon tonight for an event. See you back at the apartment?" 

"Oh." She sounds disappointed. "Sure. Bye, babe. Miss you."

"Bye, I love you."

This is basically us for the past weeks. Our schedules just don't give us a chance to be together longer than thirty minutes. 

"Mark-oppa," Lisa comes beside me on the sofa. "Was that your girlfriend?"

"Yes. Why?"

"Nothing." She hands me a bottle of water. 

"Thanks." 

Jackson's eyes are on us. Well, he doesn't have to worry, I don't plan on entertaining this girl beside me. I stand up and go near him. 

"She's sticking to you like glue again," Jackson whispers.

"Don't mind her. I think she's just sorry for what she did."

"Make sure you don't fall for her again, Mark." 

I just smirk at his comment. No plans here. "Jess is coming back tonight." I change the topic.

"So, are you meeting her?"

"Can't."

"Oh, right. Sucks being on your shoes, man." He chuckles. 

"I know right? Damn! Worst thing is, she's with GD-sunbae now...and they're in Jeju." I have to tell somebody what I'm feeling or I'll explode.

"Hey!" He puts his arm around me. "My cuz won't ever cheat on you, you know that, right?"
