Dear (Y/n)
I have written this letter thousands of times, trying to find the right words to say, because you deserve an explanation, even though you've been ignoring me for the past few weeks, but that's understandable, I hurt you so badly and I regret everything bad I did while you were on tour. You going on tour is supposed to be a happy few months, meeting everybody who absolutely adores you, but I ruined it, didn't I?

Words cannot fathom how sorry I am for how hurt I made you feel. I never realized what it would be like when you walked out of my life forever, but now that it's actually happening, I miss you incredibly so and no words can make up for what I did.

My heart cannot physically go on without you here. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me, and I can't believe it took, having you to walk out of my life, to realize that. I'm a mess right now, without you here and everyday I hope you come back, but I don't blame you for never wanting to come back.

And I know you won't believe me, but I miss you and I love you so incredibly much. Please excuse my hand writing, it's cold and I'm alone tonight.

I love you, and I hope you take the time to read this.

Dan put his pen down on the desk and his head in has hands, frustrated with himself for doing such a horrible thing to the girl he loved, actually, loves. There will never be a day where he stops loving her and stops regretting what he did for her. Dan has left (Y/N) multiple texts and voice messages, hoping that she will answer him, or pick up the phone so that they can talk and he can apologize for all the things he did to her, because he knows that what he did was wrong, hell, he knew what he was doing was wrong, the moment the affair started.

Phil had been trying to keep in contact with (Y/N), but she also wouldn't answer his texts or calls. Phil was more disappointed at Dan for stuffing up a perfect relationship, because what they had was indeed perfect. They were perfect for each other, but Dan had a weak moment and couldn't resist the temptation of another beautiful woman, while (Y/N) was off touring the country.

The notification popped up on Dan's cellphone, lighting up his screen in his dark room, where he would be, wasting the day away, thinking about (Y/N) and what she was doing, how she was doing and who she was possibly with. He clicked on the link to the YouTube video, where the thumbnail is her on stage, performing her heart out.

Dan always loved watching her perform, he loved watching how her eyes lit up every time she was on stage performing in front of people who adored her. He loved everything about her and he was so angry at himself for being selfish, and for hurting the best thing that ever happened to him.

'"What's up guys!? I am here with a video, which hardly happens, but I'm going to be talking about the tour I was on a couple of months ago, and talking about what happened. So I have some questions here, from you guys on twitter, tumblr and Facebook that you sent in, so lets get started!!'"

Dan smiled at her enthusiasm, she looked happy, and Dan was happy that she was happy. He just wishes he was happy, with her.

'"How do you decide what songs to pick for your set list?' Good question! I decide what songs I'm doing for my set list by popularity and fan favorites. So for example, I'll have the popular ones first, fan favorites in the middle and my personal favorites towards the end of the show.'"

Dan can't help but think of all the videos that they have done together, while watching the video. This was her first video without him there and Dan thought she was absolutely amazing. (Y/N) was always extremely shy in front of the camera, but this time, she looked so comfortable in front of the camera. But a certain question caught Dan's attention even more.

'"How did you deal with the Dan situation on tour?' Oh jeez I knew this question was going to pop up." She sighed and looked down. "If we're being completely honest, I didn't deal with it. Dan will always be in my heart, he will always have my heart, or at least a bit of it. But the thing is guys, I just threw myself into my performances, but I never completely dealt with it, and I still haven't"

What (Y/N) said, was exactly how Dan felt. He hasn't dealt with the break up either, and his heart breaks thinking of her hurt expression, when she saw the article, how she cried in her hotel room, praying for everything to be a lie. His heart breaks imagining all of that.

Dan: Please, I really need to talk to you, please talk to me.

Dan was anxious, waiting for a reply back from (Y/N), thinking he wouldn't ever get a reply back from her, but it was worth a shot. Atleast he was trying, and he'd rather say he tried talking and failed, than say he never bothered at all. But all of a sudden Dan's phone rings. His heart starts beating immensely because he's hoping it was (Y/N). He looks down at the caller I.D and his suspicions were confirmed

"(Y/N)! Hi, I-I'm so happy you called!" Dan was ecstatic that he finally got to talk to her, he couldn't contain the happiness in his voice when he picked up.

"What do you want Dan?" She asks, the tiredness and the hurt evident in her voice, it breaks Dan's heart.

"All I wanted to say was, I love you so much. I even wrote you letter explaining how sorry I was. I know my apology will never make up for my actions and how much I hurt you. But fuck, I miss you so fucking much and I love you so much, word's cannot explain how much I regret doing what I did. I understand if you don't want to forgive me, but hey, at least I tried, right?" Dan rambles on, which makes (Y/N) smile on the other end of the phone, almost giggling over how much he 'waffles on' but it was always one of her favourite things about Dan.

"I love you too you weirdo"
