It had been three years since he left because of his schooling, and you missed your boyfriend very much.
It was earlier that morning that he had called to tell you that his schooling was complete, and he was on his way home.
You were beyond happy to hear of his return. You smiled brightly throughout that whole day, resulting in some of your friends asking you why you were so excited.
"He's coming home! Tatsuya is coming home!" You beamed. After seeing how happy you were, your friends found themselves in a good mood as well, and they didn't even know why.
Later that day, you made your way to the airport, where you were going to meet up with Himuro.
You looked around the airport, searching, scanning the crowds for your boyfriend. When you noticed a familiar head of dark hair, you ran to them, hugging them tightly.
"Tatsuya!" You shouted as you embraced him, and the male turned around to see you, a smile immediately appearing on his face.
"Hello, (Y/N), I'm glad to see you again."
"Welcome back, Tatsuya~," You hummed, kissing his cheek.
"Glad to be back."
