A sudden outbreak of an unspecified infectious disease has arisen, causing widespread damage in all living, most especially humanity which is directly at risk. Protect your own, because in just a bite or scratch, you can be infected and it will just take a minute for the victim to become like them. A battle for protection and security, as well as the resources in humanity, will take place, and they will do anything, whatever it takes just to eliminate this epidemic disease.
We are running...
“Fuck! Faster guys! We're almost there!” A male's voice echoed in my hearing as I continued running. . . to save myself as in survival like this, putting yourself first is one of the vital roles that you must do.
My heart is beating so fast from nervousness and tired feelings mixed with fear. No. . . I'm terrified right now as I know that one mistake could make us lose our lives.
But why are we even running?
To save our lives.
“Shit! Pagod na 'ko!”
“Hindi ko na kaya!”
My breathing is shortening too, as I know that any minutes from now, maybe I wouldn't be able to breathe properly because of the tiredness and dehydrated feelings I have right now. As it was mixed with terrifying feelings. . . for our families and for ourselves.
The sunlight is hurting our skin as it's not helping us in a crisis like this— it's only making us feel so dehydrated that I just wished that it's raining right now than the sun's shining so bright in the sky. . . as if nothing abnormal is happening on the land it's giving light.
But just as the sun which continues to give light to us, our hope inside our heart will remain igniting, and we will survive in the outbreak that's happening right now even we know that it might affect our future.
From what are we exactly running away?
I look at my back to watch those. . . undead creatures that are following us, followed by the shouts of scared people all over the place, as their voice echoed in my ears.
“ZOMBIES!”
