While walking, my eyes roam to the place despite being so weak as it turned to those things that made me curious again. At the other part of this laboratory, those guns are located in which some glass walls are dividing us- this place for actual scientist things, and that place, where I think some engineering scientists are creating something.

I couldn't help but ask about it. "Ate, I've noticed something. What are those guns for?" I mean, inside the laboratory, right?

Hindi sya sumagot, ngunit hinila nya ako papalapit doon. We passed through countless scientists who are acknowledging us as all I could do was to nod my head. I'm still feeling weak, but slowly, my strengths are coming back. I still wanted to sleep first, of course. We stopped not so far from there where a woman stood beside her, who's giving me a warm smile on her face.

Ate Freya, then, looks at me. "Siya ang head scientist ng mga baril na nakikita mo. Her name is Ms. Tina Madrigal." Head scientist? They're experimenting the guns I think. But for what?

Sana all. Ngumiti din ako pabalik sa kanya.

"Ako po si Kaesha Esteban," I extended my hand for a hand shake. Inabot naman nito at nakipagkamay sa akin.

"You can ask everything that you're curious about," Ate Freya said, smirking at me. She looks as if what I was about to hear is something that would amaze me. I looked back at Ms. Madrigal. She seemed busy, but she's sparing us some time so I must not waste it.

"May I ask why there are guns inside this laboratory?" I look around the place to pertain it.

"Do you know the upgraded gatgets?" Upgraded? I looked at her quizzically before slowly shaking my head. She smiled at me. "How about upgraded guns?"

"No," What are those anyway?

I mean, we live in a prototype generation; however, even though I wanted to join the Military back then and know every kind of guns existing in this world, what we need is something that would happen even though we wished for it.

Instead of explaining, Ms. Madrigal headed to the guns on the other part of this laboratory as we watched her from the glass wall that's dividing us. My eyes lowered down at the gun she's holding. LK24. It's a big gun, but the way she's carrying it seemed like that gun is just light compared to her fragile body.

"This is an upgraded gun," She said before she clicked something. . . like a switch? And suddenly, a green light appeared on the body- located in the middle part of the gun. My eyes widened while looking at it.

She, then, opened the body carefully yet graceful as she removed something inside- a battery? It's a small square that seemed to be attached inside.

"And a battery. That's why it's an upgraded gun. As long as it has battery, it can generate bullets that we exclusively designed in which you can use it until its power drained into zero," She explained as she asked us to follow her, which we did.

She opened the door, in which we were welcomed by a empty training room that was put beside the laboratory for testing their creation, I think. I couldn't help but be amazed at what I'm looking.

Cool!

From the room where we are, she suddenly stopped in front of those plates lining up as if purposely put there to act as if a target. She is positioned as if she's about to shoot.
