"Ae. . . your hair. . ." Lorraine said as I looked below and saw my silver hair is now scattered on the floor, having bloodied tint because of the almost dried liquid at the ground. I smirked as I felt my back lighter than before.

It's making me breathe. It's what I need at a time like this.

"Let's rock and roll," I said as I ran. I heard their careful footsteps that are indicating that they're following me.

Zombies groans started filling my ears just before I saw most of them stood up from the floor maybe, since they now appeared in my sight, as they started walking to where they heard our footsteps. They are fifteen. . . and we are only seven as I heard them started firing their guns. These zombies are kinda many that's why I placed the katana back in its holster that is located in my back as I pulled out the handgun in my thigh as I started firing them.

If it was just a normal day, I would be scared to death as of now.

But right now, my bloodlust of killing them intensifies inside me as I don't feel fear, instead, I felt an adrenaline rush gushing in my body, making me move flexible as I switch place from time to time while inserting a bullet in their skull. . .

As I gasped, my eyes widened as I accidentally stepped on a body part. . . a hand maybe, and it almost made me tripped! I accidentally fired my gun as it hit the flickering bulb above, which made our surroundings darker than earlier as the source of light just exploded with my bullet that I wasn't purposely aiming at it.

They quickly opened their flashlight and started lighting our surroundings with it.

"Careful, tsk. What would you do without us?" Ashton, who caught me, whispered as I heard the annoyance in his voice. I pouted.

I quickly pulled myself away from his arms that are supporting me as I quickly moved away, pulling my flashlight in my pocket.

"It's the body part's fault!" I'm having my life there, eh! I said as I pointed my flashlight to the floor where a kinda fresh hand welcomed my sight. I made face. . . as I kicked it away, leaving some blood on its place and some droplets of it in my boots. Eww.

I quickly looked back at Ashton as I saw him lifted his left hand and pulled the trigger twice, at the same time, the sound of clicking filled my hearing, making me look at where he's pointing his gun and saw something fall from the ground; that it was the last zombie.

Wow, cool!

"Find something useful," Ashton commanded to our group before he looked. . . no, glared at me. "You, come with me," He commanded sharply. He's bossy again. I glared at him too.

"Nagtanim ka ng sama ng loob kanina? Sorry na. Move on na," I teased him but his eyes turned slit as he glared at me more.

"No, I'm keeping my eyes on you. Baka kung anong katangahan nanaman ang gawin mo," He said and walked ahead of everyone. I rolled my eyes.

"Ouch ha?" I followed him as he's walking ahead of me.

Pumunta kami sa gitna kung saan may malalaking TV sa pinakaharap na natatabunan ng cubicles kanina kaya't hindi masyadong kita ang liwanag noon. I was careful and fully alerted as I roam my eyes at our surroundings, looking for zombies. Malay nyo may buhay pa, diba? Mahirap na.

I quickly turned my attention back when I heard something. I saw Ashton increasing the TV's volume as if he's planning to listen to whatever lies it's spurting at, giving hope to the poor when the truth is. . . I shook my head. Mula sa TV, paulit-ulit lamang ang ibinabalita- ang paulit ulit na wait for us, we will find you ngunit ang totoo ay halos wala namang naghahanap sa amin.
