You were falling. You didn't scream. You knew what would happen. But you didn't know how you remembered so late. You saw the flowers getting closer and closer, you smiled softly and closed your eyes.

Thud.

Sleep. You were greeted with a few hours of sleep and surprisingly weren't awaken by... yeah, I think everyone knows who. You woke up and looked around. Everything was the same, but where was the flower? Standing up, you noticed flower petals stuck to your clothing.

"Hello?"

Footsteps. They were coming towards you. You ran and hid behind a pillar type thing. The footsteps stopped and you heard a voice. Oh, how you'd missed her. You need to reintroduce yourself as soon as-

"I can't believe this... my flowers!"

She gasped.

"Do not fear! I won't harm you, human. There is no need to hide if you are still in this room!"

Slowly, you walked towards the monster. You were a few feet away from her when she noticed you.

"Hello, child. I believe you are lost... are you alright? There are petals stuck to your hair and clothing, please, let me help you get them off."

With a smile, you walked over to Toriel

"My name is Toriel. I... patrol... the Ruins to keep watch for any children who may have fallen down here."

Toriel finished plucking petals out of your hair and grabbed your hand with her bigger, fuzzy one. She proceeded to lead you through the Ruins and show you all of the different puzzles. Of course, she was shocked when you called her Mom.

"Here we are, my child. This is my home. I will show you to your room, oh, and I will fetch a sweater for whenever you may get cold."

Toriel led you inside and to your room. There were two beds, though you never learned why. There were already sweaters in the wardrobe, but you never touched them. They weren't yours. You sat on the bed on the right side of the room, kicking your legs back and forth.

Knock.
Knock.

"My child, what are your favorite colors? And also, do you prefer cinnamon or butterscotch?"

"My favorite colors are (f/c) and (2f/c). I prefer cinnamon/butterscotch."

Toriel hesitated for a moment before asking another question.

"You wouldn't mind both though, would you?"

You giggled before answering.

"I wouldn't mind, thank you." (Sorry if you do mind both.)

After Toriel left, you lie down and look at the ceiling, though you slept for hours earlier, you were very tired.

Being with Toriel again fills you with DETERMINATION.
