Jessica's P.O.V
Carl came back only like 10 minutes later and I was in the kitchen with Ethan.
"Hey." He said
"Hey, could you do me a favor?" I asked
"Sure."
"I need to talk to Daryl about their run tomorrow." I said
"Why?" He asked
"Well unless your concerned about my period I suggest you don't worry about it." I said sarcastically
"Oh ok then." He said nervous. I laugh and kiss he cheek handing him Ethan and the bottle before leaving to find Daryl. I find him and tell him what I need. I go back to the house to see Ethan and Carl now in the living room.
"That was quick." He said
"It's not rocket science to tell a man I need pads or tampons Carl, anymore brain busters for ya?" I said sarcastically
"Whatever you say Jess." He said
"Hey, wanna do something tonight?" He asked
"Like what?" I asked
"Like take a walk around Alexandria and look at the houses. Not go inside but just look." He said
"Sounds fun, but what about Ethan?" I asked picking him up out of Carl's arms.
"Jess, he can survive one night without us here." He said
"I know and I trust everybody it's just weird. We haven't been alone without Ethan for a while." I said
"Come on please?" He asked
"Ok, but then you have to change him." I said giving him back to Carl.
"Ugh fine." He said and took Ethan upstairs to change him. He came back a little bit later and not with Ethan.
"Did you lose our kid already?" I asked sarcastically
"No genius if you didn't see it's his nap time." He said back
"I'm know I'm just teasing you." I said as he sat on the couch next to me.
"Ok so about our date." He saids
"What about it? We are just going to look around." I said
"Well, yes but it's gone be more than that. Pretend it's a walk on a beach and we had a fancy dinner before all of it." He said
"Carl your funny." I laugh
"No I'm serious, just listen. It's 12:45, at 6 meet me outside this house. But you have to wear something nice. So in for like 30 minutes, take a walk then come back." He said with a grin.
"Pretty specific instructions for a date." I say back
"I just want it to be perfect." He said
"Ok ok I'll go on my "walk" and come back." I said getting up to leave.
"If Ethan wakes up you have to take care of it." I said
"No I'm gonna let him cry." He said back
"Uh hu whatever." I laugh and so does he and I leave the house. That was weird. It was so specific just for a walk.
Carl's P.O.V
I'm glad she went along with the take a walk crap. Cause honestly I didn't think I would go for it myself. But now that she left I went over to Maggie's house again to see if she had the dress. I walk over and knock on the door. She opens it and looks all excited. For someone I just saw like 30 minutes ago she's all happy.
