Jessica's P.O.V
I open the door leaving Gregory's room. I shut it behind me and everyone looks at me. I explain what happened and once I was done they all were in shock. Even Jesus and Shane.
"Dam Jessica who knew?" Shane said rubbing his head
"Who knew what?" I asked back
"That you could actually pull it off." He said again and I roll my eyes.
"Whatever." I say. We all head out back to our RV because it was now 11 and we had to sleep. Jesus and Shane walked back with us, who knows why and we all went in the RV. We were going to leave back to Alexandria in the morning. We all spread out in the RV and I ended up being next to Glenn in the small table seats. Rick, Michonne, and Aaron had the couch. Abraham sat on the extra chair that we had and Jesus and Shane went back. Everyone was asleep but me. My head tilted on Glenn's shoulder and his head on mine.
"Great job today." He whispered
"Your awake?" I ask stunned because we've been sitting here for an hour.
"Yeah." He replied
"Why are you awake?" He asked
"Thinking." I replied
"About?" He asked
"Stuff."
"Come on, what's on your mind?" He asked. My hands were in my lap and I'm starring at my ring on my finger.
"Just nervous." I breathed out
"About?"
"Earlier today, on the way here, Rick was talking to me about how I was gonna be a Grimes. After I said yes to Carl it never fully crossed my mind that I wouldn't be a Dixion anymore, that is until he brought it up. I knew I was getting married just the idea sounded crazy. Still does. I just-It all-I knew-ugh it's complicated." I breathed out
"Jess, don't worry. So what you'll be a Grimes and not a Dixion? Who wouldn't want to be a Grimes?" He asked
"Uh-" I start
"Stop, let me finish. My point here is you'll be fine. Your not a kid and I never thought of you as one. I know you'll be ok, and after Ethan and how good you and Carl work together I have no doubt you two will be fine together. Your practically married already, living together and having a kid for Christ sake. Don't sweat over being called a different last name. But you light wanna sweat about these Saviors you promised we'd deal with." He finished
"No shit. But I know we can take em. How's Maggie by the way?" I ask
"Not good, before we left she said she was seeing things differently. Like she said he hand was as big as a car, and the RV was like a normal sized car. Like her vision is going crazy. I asked Denise to look after her for me." He said
"Ok, I'm sure she was just hallucinating." I said back
"I hope so." He finished
