What if Audrina Danielle Patridge lived and the bond didn't exist....

Audrina held the picture frame, smiling sadly as she stared at her most treasured picture of them. No it wasn't her and Senri, picture nilang lahat ito. It was taken after a party noong 12 pa sila. The picture was a happy moment ngunit tuwing tinitignan niya ito nalulungkot siya.

Why did everything turned out to be like this? She couldn't help but think when her moist eyes landed on the grinning face of Cain Christopher Woodsen.

She promised herself na sa lahat ng desisyong gagawin niya wala siyang masasaktang iba but she never knew she already broke her own promise. When she decided to marry Senri Sinclaire she'd torn Cain Woodsen to pieces.

It's not that she didn't know of Cain's feelings. Cain looked at her with so much reverence, how could she not know?

Na realize niya lang talaga na sa bawat decision na gagawin niya may masasaktan, in this case it's Cain. Hindi naman niya ginawa ito dahil sa utos ng superiors nila. She loves Senri and she will marry him with or without the order of the Council. She is not going marry him just to uphold the golden rule, alam naman niya na hindi siya hahayaan ni Senri pumayag sa kasal na ito kung hindi nila gusto ang isa't isa.

And she won't allow herself to be unhappy the rest of her life for marrying a man she did not love.

Audrina cleared her throat and returned the picture frame on her night stand when the door opened. She wiped the unshed tears before looking at Senri with a sad smile.

"It's tomorrow and he's still not here," her lips quivered as she spoke. Senri sighed before kneeling in front of her, hinawi nito ang mga takas na buhok na naka harang sa mata niya.

"Just let him be. He needs time," he then reached for her hands. "He won't answer any of our calls, even Carly's so it's safe to say na ayaw niya muna tayong makausap"

Cain left as soon as Audrina told him about the marriage. Sabi ng kambal nitong si Carly ay umalis ito ng bansa at walang may alam kung kalian ito babalik. Carly said his mind was blocked. Talagang pinutol nito ang lahat ng koneksyon nila.

"It's been four months, Sen..."

"I know," muli nitong hinawi ang buhok niya bago ngumiti. "You shouldn't be crying the day before your engagement party. Everyone will wonder if the marriage is still on"

Audrina couldn't help but smile at that. This man never failed to make her smile even at the saddest of times.

Audrina's hold on Senri's arm tightened kaya napatingin ito sa kanya. "You okay?"

She shook her head. She can never lie to him because he sees through her eyes. It's his special talent.

Sa totoo ay kinakabahan siya kahit hindi naman dapat. It's just their engagement party.

"Are you happy?"

She rolled her eyes at that. "Oo naman. Sen, you don't have to ask me that every day. Yes I am going to marry you. The answer will still be Yes even if you propose over and over again until the day of our marriage"

Senri laughed. "Everything is so unreal for me. Naniniguro lang naman ako"

When they both turned towards the door, nagbigay na ng signal ang coordinator na bubuksan na ito for their grand entrance.
